Hell, we're on pace to not even get the 1st prize. Do you guys really think they'd to through the effort of programming them into the game and for nothing to ever come of them? Obviously not. This is a money making scheme. They will sell them to us after the event is over for donuts. And the genius part is that they get to act like they weren't greedy. "Hey, we offered it for free, but you tappers just didn't tap enough. Sorry!" What a freaking scam. So transparent. I see right through it. I bet the prizes will be limited time too after we fail to get them. EA does it again.

I'm afraid, for once, I have to agree with you Josh. If they do decide to sell these prizes as donuts I, for one, will be extremely ****. Hopefully it won't come to this though and EA will lower the amount needed.

Remember that Halloween started slowly too. Watch for the 'counter' to speed up.

I really can't wait till we get all the community prizes and you are sitting there with nothing to say because you are nothing but a complaining, whining brat that expects everything should be done to simply amuse you !

It may speed up but not nearly by enough.

Exactly. We will get at least The Yes Guy, I believe, or maybe even all the prizes, but right now all we can do is wait to see if that happens.

its anyoing but as it's time released and not an actual counter we should get all the prize just by waiting? If that's the case

We better get the Yes Guy. Springfield won't be the same without him.

I hate to agree, but I do with this perspective. Yeah, the counter may move up quicker, but I just don't see us reach 2.5 billion gift bags when we're lucky to get maybe 20 a day per person.

For all the whiners, it is always a good time to find another funnier game, that will be more to your taste.

I am perfectly happy with this update !

They should put a character in and call it Josh jeerer in the game and have Nelson shoot BB's at him for 2 hrs.

I'm happy with this update too, really like it actually. Just worried about reaching 2.5 billion gift bags as a community.

Yeah, it's really weird the way that the rate of the first day doesn't reflect the rate once everybody has actually begun using the update. Almost as if it is actually tied in some way to the number of people that are playing rather than being an arbitrary timer created by EA.
They gave us all the Halloween community prizes...conveniently just in time.

"conveniently" with five days left out of 37. Not exactly the last minute save that you are implying.

You are just so smart. A legend in your own mind.

As compelling as your cherry picked data is: Pace based on one day worth of returns won't tell you much.

So what if the counter is fake and all the prizes were a sure thing? Since you are so smart simply beat them at their own game and don't tap extra holiday currency while still getting the community prizes. That'll learn 'em!

If you don't like the game this much then just quit. I am being completely honest. You hate everything EA is doing. They are not allowed to make a profit. It's all a giant scam. You have nothing useful to contribute. If EA told you to not slam your junk in a car door you would do it anyway just to defy them and "prove" how wrong they are. At this point I am convinced you simply like reading your own posts.

Josh, the event has been on for one day, there's a lot of players who have not updated, and a lot of players who are building up presents to send out. We will get the community awards and EA won't sell them to us after the event. Stop complaining, back under the rock please.
