At first I thought I liked it the best. I got a few good prizes up front. Then I realized if you want all prizes, prepare to spend tons of donuts. Good god. Especially the last prize. They make it seem like you're going to get a ton of cool prizes and for not that much money. Wrong. The last prize is where EA makes its money. You will never get that last prize without filling up their pockets. It was so f****** frustrating watching me hit just before and just after the helter shelter a million times. I wanted to punch someone in the eye.
Well if you dont spend any money on the wheel, then you dont lose any money on the wheel.
The Shelter was the first or second thing I won. I am having a heck of a time getting the Claus Co building. I only have 2 spots on the wheel that are cash, but somehow keep hitting them. Makes me think this wheel might be rigged

After 31 spins I only need to get the Yeti, the Hindu snowman thing, and the ClausCo Building. Not going to spend another 50 donuts on 10 spins when I can try getting all of those things with the 1 free coin generated daily until Jan. 6. The only one I really care about is the ClausCo Building anyways.

I guess i was one of the lucky ones, i landed on Claus Co. on the 5th try! The shelter is the only thing left on my wheel that is not money or gift cards.

Yea man same here i want that tall building as the tower to rule them all lol it just looks sick Haha but I also spend so many donuts trying to get it so I'll take my chances in on that daily token, token from gifts, or after I finish all my prizes

Sounds familiar... I hit the cash 9 out of 10 times... Trying to get the shelter. Rotten bastardos!
God you are THE most annoying, I almost have to wonder if this is some kind of performance art. You're the guy in my (and everyone's) office whom everyone refuses to work with because he always complains when the free sandwiches at lunch meetings don't have pickles.
I just don't understand why people are complaining because "zomg I had to spend tonnes of donuts to get a months worth of prizes in one day"
If you want all the prizes in a day, you SHOULD be prepared to pay through the nose. Simple as that.
If you visit all 100 friends for the length of the event you should get like, 80 free spins... Why not see what you get for free and use donuts at the end if there's a prize you really want.
But yes, I have spent 150 donuts on spins. I am ashamed to admit, I have a " spin the wheel" addiction.
150 donuts is nothing when you really think about it. When the event is over, if EA wants to sell the prizes, you know items like Claus Co are going to be like 150 donuts. Helter Shelter may be a 100 donut item. And so on and so forth.... Really guys, the wheel is a lot better for you than if you were going to buy them a la carte.
The exception is if you are a completionist like Josh and MUST have the last item. Otherwise, it's actually much cheaper this way.
The wheel is actually my favorite part of the event. I get a rush from the spinning. =D And since the prizes are difficult to get, they don't suck so much like the ones for Halloween. The Halloween prizes were awful... Of course, I'll miss grinding for donuts.
For EA, this is the best part about this update, they're just rolling in the cash right now.
Not from me. Compared to Halloween and other paid for events I don't think much of the premium items. Thing is the Christmas season is too short. Regular quests and all year round suff that you can leave out, like the graveyards, is where it's at IMO.
My first spin was Marge. Which I already have one from last year. Second spin was Yeti. I'm not going to waste donuts on that thing. EA should have made two levels for spins. One for people that weren't playing last year to include the snowmen. The second one for people that played last year with all new things for them.
For once i agree with josh, the clausco took me over 500 donuts to get but hey,if you were in EA shoes are you trying to say you wouldn't make money you would give everything for free? come on now they have needs too lol

Love it but hate it more!
Welcome back to the board Josh
