How do you make so much money???

i never seem to have enough to buy new buildings for quests and its bothering me & some people say they have millions?!?!? how!!!!

Patience. Once you get to the higher levels you can join the threads complaining about there not being enough stuff to spend your money on or land to put it on. :?

I remember being on level 19 FOREVER because I had to save up money for whatever the building was on 19. Now I'm on 37 with 10+ Million in the bank and a couple of the aspirationals. The time will come be patient and keep playing!

It takes a while. I gained most my money during Halloween because I had reached the maximum level and all the Halloween buildings were cheap. I used my extra money to buy the sunsphere, magnifying glass, and the escalator . I didn't have enough for the Popsicle stick building, but I'm not sure I want it. I bought all the buildings and characters and they make a ton of cash. It always helps to have a lot of multipliers. I am on my way to 2 million already after buying a lot of land. My strategy was to try not to buy land or less I absolutely had to, and to get to my 5 star rating ASAP. When I was waiting for a level to be released, I would spend money to buy land and decorate. It is more fun when you are working hard to buy buildings. I have other towns that I am working on that are in the beginning stages. I forget how fun it is to have to wait and calculate when you will have enough cash to buy something.

you wont have money until youve reached the max level and are waiting for updates. every update seems to have 1 or 2 very expensive items so ive basically always floated around 600,000. although i do have the 750,000 and 1 mill items

The game is scaled. When you first start, items are inexpensive. As you progress, items become increasingly expensive. However since as you level up, you acquire more characters, buildings, and multipliers, money is easier to get. This keeps the pace of the game constant. However, once you reach the end of the quest line and have bought all of the buildings, then there is nothing to spend money on, and you just continue to collect large amounts of cash.

I'd say it has to do with many things.

    1) How long you've been playing. You joined a forum where many players started when the game released or re-released. Many of us have millions, since we've had 18 months of playing this game.

    2) How you play. If you want everything now, you need to play aggressively. You need to be utilizing 1 hour tasks all day every day. If you do 24 hour tasks daily, then you are limiting your daily income signficantly. It decreases as the task times decrease. I (and everyone) understand if you cannot play hourly - it depends on your schedule. However, money comes to those play frequently (1 hour and 4 hour tasks).

    3) Part 2 from above. Some start off as house farmers. This allows you to acquire the money you want very quickly at the expense of look of your town. I didn't play this way. I only now reached this level since June 2013 when I bought up the last pieces of land, and September when I bought the last item (the diamond) and the land expansion.

    4) Being a premium player. Many of the people on the forums buy donuts. Those donuts then are used to purchase premium items. These items increase daily cash flow with additional characters (more characters give more quests and thus more income). Then we also purchase premium decorations and buildings. These increase what is called a bonus %. This percent is added to every task and every building 'collection'. To monitor this %, tap Gulp N Blow. If you have 0% premium items, you will get exactly $100. With every percent added, this amount goes up. So right now many of us this pays out over $200. Meaning over 100% bonus %. So while the increase is slow going up, we are able to earn millions a lot faster.

It is best to buy donuts legitimately. Doing illegal ways get you banned from the game. I've seen many sales where Google Play or iTunes cards are on sale for $5-$15 off. So buy the discounted cards, stock them up and buy the boatload of donuts. You get a significantly more for your money. If you time it right, you can utilize Gil's donut sale. For example it is speculated that one is coming for Christmas Day. Don't buy donuts today, wait till the end of the year. You will get bonus donuts if you buy them from Gil.

Lots of blue houses. Some players have half a map of blue houses. Sure it seems expensive to start but it really adds up. I can get $40K just on this per day.

I'm level 37 and I'm always running out of money. I put my characters on 24 hour jobs every day. I am currently saving for the Unemployment office building.

there might be your problem put your characters on 12 hour task you find they you make more cash for every 2, 12 hours tasks than for 1, 24 hour task and if you have premium items like the hot tub and the Ferris wheel you can send Fat tony to hot tub for 10 hours and make more money that his 12 hr normal task. same thing with Burns/smithers on the Ferris wheel. its a 10 hour task and you can get cash from both of them. Also having 40 blue house helps a lot and you can create neighborhoods that way it does not look like a house farm.

I run all my characters that are able to on 4 hour tasks. The more tasks you run a day with each character the more money gets built up. The developers want you in the game playing as much as possible. Therefore 24- 1 hour tasks add up to a lot more than 1- 24 hour task. I refuse to open this game more than 4-5 times a day

I'd say it's more than just reaching max level. I maxed out at level 36 before level 37 came out and am still doing the 37 questlines. Once you've completed the questlines, you basically are only spending money to decorate. Granted.. I purposely saved up to my first mil and reached it the morning of the Christmas update! Ever since then, I've treated it as my zero and don't want to fall below it. So for instance I waited to hit 310k to build the unemployment office which I just started the build on this morning.

I'm a level 37 and bought every building the game has to offer. Now I'm saving up for land, and buying decorations for the town. I always put a 12 hour quest on my characters, on vacation and days they were 8 hours quest. I bought white and purple houses to make extra money.i have also purchase premium item as well. I wish I would have waited on buying duff brewery. Gil came in and I missed out on that Black Friday deal :( so yes I'm going to wait to buy donuts at the end of the year.

It helps to know all the little tips and tricks.

Once you finish buying up all the land, the money starts to roll in.
