How's everyone doing on Gift Cards?

Closing in on 26k. I'm almost there.

give or take about 60 friends, playing daily, visiting daily. May hit tonight or tomorrow morning. More than likely tomorrow morning since Lisa's on her 24 hour task.

Still at 0 coins from gift bags....

I think there was another thread just like this one but I dont remember where it is and I'm too busy watching the Twilight movies to look it up.

I'll hit 30k today and then its time to really pay attention to the wheel of misfortune and what drops or doesnt drop from that. I'll soon join the 4-coin-a-day club.

This or you aren't visiting enough friends. The goal is 1035 a day, and as of yesterday you needed to be at 7250. So you may be behind schedule if you plan to get the last prize before the end of the event.

People that are nearly done have 50+ friends, so they hit at least 1500-3000 (100 friends) gift cards a day. Given that the event is about a week ago, 7 * 3000 = 21,000 - just from visiting friends in addition to all the free gifts, quests, tasks, etc. So it's very possible that people are finished today.

Visiting towns every day gets you 3,000. Then there are quests that come up that earn you 1,000+. Combined with getting gifts and the elf's. You'll be fine.

Hit 30k this morning, in the heart of the Christmas quest line where most residents can be added to the task so averaging 4k-5k per day with visiting friends.

I have 15000. I have less then 50 friends but most of them are awsome and drop 1 ou 2 gift bags each. I play daily and I send everyone to the multiple tasks.

Just over 30,000. Constington's is still building. It's a store, right? If it is, I just might finally make a 5-star rating. Claus Co. helped a lot with that.

Don't mind them, people on the forum are CRAAAZY (refering to me as well...).

I had the same problem during the begining of Halloween. But if you really want to advance fast, friends is the way to go. You get 30 gift cards from each friend by tapping their buildings, so it adds up pretty quick. Plus any gift bags sent your way. Just make sure you visit them every single day...

I should hit 30,000 this evening, or tomorrow AM at the latest. This is good because I had no light skins or snow people, so I need all of them plus the new stuff from the wheel, so I have a feeling I will still be collecting for quite a while.

Yet to get a spin token from anywhere but the egg nog bar.

Planning on reaching 16,000 today! I like to take my time. I calculated if I get 2,000 a day I will still make it! Just not as quickly as all of you! :-D

Doesn't matter really if you have terrible friends this update seems more about you visiting all your friends to get to the target!

Wow. I just hit 18000 and some of you are at 30000+. I have a lot of people on my list that don't play anymore. I keep them around to visit the town for "taps".

I don't get enough gift bags to give each person 5 each. What's the trick to that?
