I'm trying to come up with a message that I can fit near my landing zone asking folks to not leave any more. I just don't want to come off as ungrateful, but I hit 30k and there are others who need them more.

Lol. It's the space issue, more than the message issue. Well that and I'm not really good at writing with decorations. It took me a good 20 minutes to spell out "tap tile" with fence pieces. I can only imagine how long it would take for me to write "plz give to others".

The gift bags are moveable, so you could write your message with them!

If you're going to try this, remember not to use your elves. I decorated the center of my town with the xmas tree and presents, only to destroy it the next morning by releasing the elves. Doh!

There is a limit you will hit. After a certain amount they cannot drop any more. I hit the limit in less than a day.

This is what I did hoping that gift bags would be given to players not at 30k yet, although I still seem to be receiving them...

I wish all of my neighbors that didn't want bags would post this type of message. I'd totally prefer to direct my bags "to the poor". Thanks for the heads up KP!

Sorry if it seems like I'm complaining about getting the gift bags! They are very appreciated and I'm surprised at the number of 5 bag drops I've gotten. I'm just as frustrated as everyone else not to be able to give them away. Plus.. I'm sitting at 28,427 and have missed two days worth of neighbor visits. I'm pretty pleased with the number of gift cards I've gotten. My only goal now is to collect the final freebie tomorrow and once over 30k, get extra coins for the ever so popular wheel lol.

Currently, I have 29 people that I owe gift card visits to. 8 of them get a full 5 bags with some of them i have to visit again after 24 hrs. The rest are a spattering of 1-3 bags I owe. I have 47 bags in inventory and after the 8, that leaves me with 7 to distribute to the remaining 21. So when I opened up my town and didn't find anyone to add to my list I felt, well, relieved!

oh what a relief!
