Yep same here, been playing for over a year ... IPad 2 will only connect once in about 50 try's ... IPad mini on IOS 7 doesn't seem to connect anymore. xperia Z1 on android connects first time every time.
So annoying playing on such a small screen.
Please fix EA i try everyday on the iPads for over a week with it hardly ever connecting.
