The wheel is probably rigged. Like some have said, they'll probably offer those for donuts at the end. And I really love how they made us think on Christmas Eve Eve and Christmas Eve that we HAD to do the Homer donut task. That was probably to stop us from getting all of the gift cards. The wheel had landed on the Yeti for me once as well. But I got the $1000 instead. I know it's a "free" game but I've spent an insane amount of real money over the last year like most have here and it's just disappointing.
Yeah im in the same boat, i still have helter shelter, king plow and the yeti to get still but for the last 15-20 spins ive had 3 lots of gift cards and the rest $1000, same * over and over, it actually slows its self down more to hit the cash...
I hate this xmas update, preferred Halloween update
But guys, Christmas is about giving, not receiving!

The crap I've seen people put up with from this game; their progress lost, their donuts lost, missing characters, purchases gone wrong, etc. Yet the biggest complaint I have seen is about this.
Come on people, I think we need to start seeing each prize of the wheel as a free gift that we otherwise would not have got, and stop focusing on what we have missed out on. (And seeing as the event is about a week from finished, you have not missed out on anything yet)
And at the beginning of this event did anyone really think they were guaranteed to clear the wheel? If it was not for the "Search for the Simpsons" quest that allows us to gift card farm, most people would have been looking at a maximum of 40-50 spins for the event. Hardly enough to be sure of clearing all 30 prizes even if the odds for each space were equal.
Yes, it sometimes seems unfair, but in relative terms, to not only fellow players who have seen far worse happen to their Springfield but also to the plethora of issues that face the average joe outside our Tapped Out universe, I think it's a level of unfairness that can probably be tolerated and ignored.
But enough of that;
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
May your Springfield be glitch free and your mystery boxes laden with donuts this year.
This happened to me too! My wheel clearly stopped on Clausco and it gave me 50 gift cards instead! I have been trying for Clausco for forever and pretty much only get cash. It is so frustrating!
I am the OP and this happened to me again this morning. I have only received the snow god since posting. I get every card I can and have over 80,000. I don't complain about things in the game usually, but at this rate I will not clear the wheel despite playing the way I am supposed to play. This is bunk.
This is old, but is still a thorn on my side. I landed on the yeti a few times, and yes I did take screen shots, clearly showing I was on the yeti!!!!
To add insult to injury, I was also one of the ppl that tickets just stopped working. So not only did I get screwed and NOT get all the prizes, but 1/2 through the quest, I got the 'all finished' glitch before I was finished.
When these things happen, EA really should make a reliable fix, and compensate those of us who play and got ripped off.

 :x
1. Why dredge up a thread from 4 months ago
2. EA did compensate anyone that emailed about this and gave the prize
3. I saw this happen and you were really half way on each prize even though it looked like you were on one or the other because right after it was on the real prize. Since it was a digital wheel this occurred. Several times it did the same thing to me and actually gave me the better prize.
4. Who cares anymore
