That's why I don't like visiting my neighbors at night. Idk if they're sleeping or not, I oddly enough consider not wanting to wake people.

This is an easy fix. Go into your apps, turn off notifications.

Is there an extra in-game setting for these notifications? Because I really can't find it.
It's the opposite for me. I get 'Task completed' notifications but none about my neighbours visiting, even though I clearly know they have visited with the gift bags they dropped. I'm on HTC Android. How about you?

It's not an "in-game" setting. There is the setting in game that you can turn off but will still get certain notifications.

On Android systems if you go into your settings>applications>TSTO - you will notice a box that says 'Show Notifications". If you click the box it will remove all notifications.
