Hacked, but no damage done.

Change your email password as well as your origin password and make them different.

*edit*

Originally posted this from my phone while driving. Anyways. It sound more like your email was compromised because if they asked for a password reset and were able to change your origin password that way. It seems a little weird. What email service do you use? Obviously they didn't want to steal the email account if they didn't even bother changing the password on your email.

Yes I couldn't log in for what felt like hours. Whoever was in my account spent some donuts but I can't figure out on what.

Actually I had a notification from EA. That's why I just logged in. I found it odd. As soon as I logged in it took me directly to my user settings

Anyone else ever had their Origin account hacked? Tried to login said invalid email or password, requested password reset and went to my email only to see a message from origin my password was reset as requested 2 days before, what's that all about?

YO, that sucks! Was anything changed in your town? I don't understand what can be gained from someone hacking your town? They can't transfer anything to their account, right? I would be pissed...

I signed in one day over x-mas and ended up in someone else s town. Never entered any password or anything just thought it was auto logging me in. I logged out and back in and it was mine again. So there might be issues other than hacking.

Okay, I'm going completely off-topic because I keep forgetting to mention to porkpiesteve that the gif in your avatar ALWAYS makes me smile, partly because the cat-on-cat scenario makes me think of this photo by a renowned wildlife photographer, Suzi Eszterhas:

Not quite that but I couldnt log in to my town at around midnight either. It kept giving me a reply that an error occured. I was nervous my donuts would be gone, my town lost or anything. This morning I tried it again and all was OK. Donuts, Money, Tickets and Friends at normal.

Maybe a screw up on their servers. I noticed that with the Kamiko(?) update the crashes of my game reduced significantly so I wonder if they fix their servers (thus causing issues for everyone)
