I am at 107,000 some odd cards, and still nothing. I am really disappointed I can't get helter shelter in my main town :? By the looks of it it's unlikely I'll end up getting it before the event ends, because I am sure as hell not going for those numbers.
Side note: I had a good rhythm going with the wheel and figured out if I spun it a certain way it would land on the shelter, and guess what? Right when I am about to do that spin the game crashed  when I restarted it, it wouldn't spin the way it did before it crashed. Mind you I spun that way 3 times in a row with the same results, but after the crash the results miraculously changed :!:
I've read how people where complaining about the wheel being rigged, but I always took those as glitches in the game, but I think what happened with me solidifies those rumors. It's really disheartening to be honest.
I admit, it's tempting to think that way. We discussed the odds of the wheel on page 8 of this thread and how likely you are to not complete it. Hang in there, you have about a 90% chance of completing the wheel with 150 spins. Bad news is that means about 1 in 10 players won't complete it.
I'm at 115K and I'm still trying to get the stupid Yeti. I completed the task last week for hunting the Simpsons since I was afraid I might not get the donuts from the Homer New Year's task so my coinage has been slowing down (not that it matters).
140,000. Still one item to collect for 3 weeks now. Just blew 31 tokens in a row tonight thinking 31 spins in a row would do it.... But no. No way am I going to spend money on this game in the future as a result. But hey, I won a homer Buddha in a mystery box which led to another mystery box which led to a parking space. Jog on. Pfft
Wow, that is a lot of cards! I'm at 66k and was feeling sorry for myself as I still have 3 items left. That is I was feeling that way until I read this thread. Due to a glitch I lost several days of Christmas and am bummed not to finish. Feeling incomplete. but I'm not sure I could have gotten double the cards and remained employed or kept my kid fed! Congrats to all that made it! Empathy for those whose wheel failed them.

Hang in there neighboorino ! We will win !
Thank god I can finally set homer and Lisa to hide in the tree house
Edit: Typo
Congrats!
Congrats!!
I've now reached 171k.
I've sent all those not on The Great Hunt of 2013/2014 to church (who can be sent there) to pray for a miracle, per the advice of Rev. Lovejoy.
I have also taken the advice of The Gypsy, and lit The Trashcan Fire of Hope near my depot tree.
Perhaps I need to look into a nice sacrifice at the Volcano Lair.....
To add some insult, my feeder town just completed the wheel by getting the Yeti at 120,000 cards.
I do hope this will be the last time we ever see a wheel of chance.
Frickin' A Right! My feeder town cleared the wheel at 72k! It's like they're laughing at me.
That's a fine score, but I'm only keeping the top five for cleared scores.
Best of luck to everyone else still trying!
Excellent.
I'm past 154,000 cards, and still hostage to the wheel of despair.
Congrats Don_Have_A_Cow & xTaityx, you're free!
