    you got it. Its hard to find a happy medium between obvious and obscure.

    it was, im a movie nerd, I worked in a video store (back when they existed) all through HS.

    Edit: communication is my strength. I think thats why I have an easy time guessing but a hard time poorly describing.

    Ok. How bout guy meets girl as a kid in unique way. Guy meets girl again falls in love with but doesn't know her secret.

    Edited to add hint. Her secret is not accepted and guy must flee to her home place.
