Did you get Witch Marge this last Halloween update or from the 1st Halloween? I got her the first Halloween, currently growing corn for the 3rd time and have never had a problem using her multiple times I a day to take time off.

Interesting. I bought her this year.
hmmm... I also bought her this year. Well, Halloween 2013. I know she works because I was using her for Silvertongue a lot.
Man, this makes me wish I had enough donuts to buy Witch Marge. I'll need to add her to next year's shopping list (actually, this years - I'm still stuck in 2013).
My corn is now 79 days left and... I just got the "Harvest Perfection" task!!! Well, at least I'll have a cute rose decorationg my game in time for Valentine's day...

I just realised that my point above is moot as I can't grow Silvertoungue anymore. :P Let's hope they fix Witch Marge's speed-up task.

Seriously. Why is this topic called 'the pack mentality of corn.'
I'm splitting hairs here I know, but it just annoys the heck out of me. It's suggesting that corn has a personality outside of the fact that it takes 90 days to grow and is a food source.
In my mind I picture gangs of corn roaming the streets scaring grannies.
Hey kandycanada,
Thanx for the effort. I guess I can go back to having Marge protest something. Maybe I'll grab a screen shot if I see her in front of the farm.
+1 Thanks kandycanada.
Haha like the idea of Marge. But the powers that be will most likely ignore her.
So does this mean Witch Marges speed up crop task was only suppose to work only once originally? Or this this just a bug on top of a bug? Plus didn't know that she adds to the crop   like madfish86 stated. Feel like finding the guy who told everyone it shaved off hours more than once on his moonshine so I can be like "Why you little.." *Homer Voice* Lol
My previous works with her is you put her on task it decreases the time by four hours then leave town and come back those four hours get added back so basically no time shaved off except for the original first time. This Witch Marge madness is ridiculous...

A couple of players responded to our test results claiming the Witch Marge they purchased when she was originally released in 2012 works multiple times on corn. I think it is a bug because the first time I used her, she added time onto the task. I immediately put her on the same task after she finished and the second time she didn't add any time, but she didn't subtract any either.

Eh, the way I was looking at it was the 'I'll do what everyone else is doing' part of it and the 'like minds gather' part of it. It sounded better than me saying 'Baaaa... I'm a sheep'. I witnessed how the Christmas corn growers joined one after the other (and it probably wouldn't have happened if there was no thread for it).
I felt like I was missing out when I saw the Christmas corn growers tapping away and I wished I had grown corn when I first saw that thread. After hesistating for over 2 months, I decided to grow it. Knowing that there would be other like minded players, I decided to make a thread for it to spread that extra little bit of encouragement. I was nicely surprised by such a large turnout and I hope we can reap the benefits when our corn is ready to harvest.
Looking back at things now, I guess the thread title probably isn't the best (but it was attention-getting, right? ). I noticed that some songs, jokes and movie titles also don't make much sense when you think about them too much. And hey, I think I had gotten a better effect than if I had called it 'Baaaa.... Sheep' :P
I'm sorry about making you feel annoyed with the thread title, bahepton. If you want, I can change the thread title for everyone and hopefully it'll no longer look weird to you.

I see a bunch of kids chanting "One of us, one of us" in an overly creepy manner.
Only 80-some days before gangs of demonic children start terrorizing my Springfield apparently.
Oh, and feel free to add me if you want to witness the carnage, lest some teenagers manage to purge them...
I'm also growing corn! Only have sixty days left and have called it my ' Mid-Season' corn! Have been busy tapping everyone's corn that is ready! Need to spring clean my friends list and then I shall be looking to add like minded players!
My corn is done in less than 2 days! I think I'm going to rush the last day with donuts, since it will finish while I'm at work and I know I will be too antsy to not get people tapping it for me right away.
Could you count me in? Delaserb1993
Mine is ready in one day and 14 hours
So the only thing i have to pay attention is not to tap on the farm for the next seven days?

Nope - it's still there, thawed and growing as normal.
