I just spun the wheel 63 times with hoarded tokens. I like everyone else hoped to convert them into something useful at the end of the event. But anyway, here are the results of my spins. 30 cash, 16 -50 gc, 4 - 100 gc, 2 - 150 gc, 5 - 225 gc, 3 - 250 gc, and 3 - 275 gc. I would have won Claus co and helter shelter 3 times each and the snow monster either 2 or 5 times depending on which spot it was on the wheel (I forget).

    sucks, sucks hard.

130k gift cards and Claus co/yeti were left on the wheel. I am very disappointed by the wheel. I wish EA had put a little more though into how using a random prize distributed would make some players feel good while others would work hard and not has as much to show for it. Kinda demoralizing.

    Whatever... It's just a game.

They clearly f***ed up. What really adds insult to injury, is that they clearly saw they messed up and made an update, but instead of giving everyone a real chance, they only made people work harder for nothing.

I just spun my 7 coins, and got a 275 cards and a 225 cards, which I think would have been the clausco and the yeti or the ice god.

I cleared the wheel before the original ending. I found that you could improve your chances of getting a certain prize depending on where you started the spin and how hard you spun (full rotation or half rotation) It wasn't 100% effective but was never far out from where I expected it to finish (unless I slipped and completely messed up the spin) if it did miss the intended prize.

I don't think this was unique or a glitch. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen?

I did that as well cause someone on the boards had mentioned it worked. I wouldn't say it was perfect all the time or if I was lucky but somehow I cleared the wheel

    Something saltier...

My son was doing his last three spins in his town on the Kindle. I went to log into my town on my phone. His was still logged in on my phone and I didn't realize it. I only got to the "welcome soandso" and quickly logged out.

My son was on the last spin and landed on money. Here was the odd part, the error screen came up saying he was logged in on another device, so we backed out and re-entered the game on the Kindle. When the game came back up, it went to the wheel and he had one spin again.

Ah ha... so we re created the events a few more times and after a few re-spins he had the Yeti.

The salty part was why did I find this out the last day in the last few hours? The Clause Co is the only item remaining on the wheel and there are likely no more spins left to... increase the odds... to say without saying what it really is.

Plus my town wheel only had helter shelter left. If I had known this even yesterday...

I haven't updated either. I'm going to ride this train out as long as it takes to get Claus Co. I think you can still visit towns of people that haven't updated yet.

Any idea when they are going to FORCE everyone to update?

My two cents (hope some of the EA-Simpsons team will see it):
Doh!!! ...didn't want to lose the Winter setting so soon! Dig the new japanese girl; fun / cute groovy addition, but sure wasn't really ready for today's end of holiday season 'winter thaw' though! Was hanging on to my final 2 spins on the holiday game wheel for the evening when I saw it was still there this morning & figured it would be 'til midnight....
When playing this afternoon it kept giving the 'update required' notice to access friends and as other times when this happened I figured it was an automatic short system update in my complete naivete, and not the full system wipe/reset of the holiday season; would have been great if a notification came up asking 'if you want to exit the Holiday Season game or continue to with it?'. Ehhh, guess ya live and learn. I actually would revert the upgrade if it was an option so I could still enjoy the holiday fun 'til end of the month. It's nice to see the green for those of us who started in the late Fall, but I'd prefer if they fully follow the seasons & have the snow theme throughout the actual full Winter... Hope it might return to complete the season via more weather updates / snowstorms. Winter setting was really cool (literally). Seasons should fully mirror the real ones by date & last 'til the actual end of Winter in my book... also, would be nice to have sounds for a couple other characters like Millhouse (his silly uncomfortable groans would be swell)...

I'm really **** because EA never did anything to remedy the fact that my 'bonus' coins stopped working pretty soon after I reached the Costingtons prize so I never got to really enjoy all the bonus spins I worked hard to collect. I kept hoping they would do something like convert it to donuts or find some way of making it up to those of us who got screwed over but instead it was flat out ignored. I spent a lot of money on this game over the years. I at least managed to get Plow King but wanted the Claus Co building. Very unfair especially for a player like myself who has been playing since the relaunch of the game in 2012. :(

I tried this myself with both my iphones at the start of the event. I figured to try it because a while back, there was a bug/glitch which meant you could simultaneously open mystery boxes and choose the best option by closing the one you didnt want before the game sync'd. Unfortunately it doesnt appear to be possible anymore, not for me anyway. Maybe its because I was using same model and OS unlike yourself :(
