Damn, took you long enough :) I'm just kidding of course. Nice work and thank you very much. These walkthroughs are a great time saver and make the game more enjoyable for me.

    Did you purchase the BHL?

That happened to me also. Then it occurred to me that I needed to purchase the BHL before that step activates. As soon as I bought him, it triggered. If you already bought him and it still doesn't trigger, then I don't know what to advise you. :)

EDIT TO ADD: Ninja'd by Brett. :)

I see so you get part 1 to suck you in but to do the quest line you need BHL like any other premium quest like. Nice of them to make it not clear.

And of course BLH is not the top of my list for doughnut purchases. I have 180 doughnuts and there are a lot more interesting premium items than one character.

How does this kick off? My Wiggum is walking around free and is not triggering anything. I haven't had any updates since the one from the other day that removed Christmas. What gives?

Do you need to finish the Scandalous Spending before the Two Extra Eyes on Springfield starts?

On part four in the main quest I only have a task for Wiggum to Bust Budget Blogger, but not for CBG to 'Sit in jail' as said in the walkthrough. Am I missing something?

Edit: about half an hour into the quest, CBG joined Wiggum but instead of sitting in jail, he is busting the budget blogger too...

Hmm, odd one here, maybe someone can help me.

I updated and homer and wiggum triggered. Homer finished and I sent him off on a 12 hour task. Shortly after my game crashed. On restarting the game it downloaded the update again. Now, I am stuck on level 37 and whilst homer was off on his 12 hour task, Wiggum was walking around again... but Wiggum has triggered his task again, so he is off procrastinating for the 2nd time, having done about 40 minutes of it previously. I bought all the new decorations and still have them, even the you have to be level 38 for the justice statue, which is currently locked in the menu.

Do you think when Homer frees up it will boost me to level 38 again?

Thank you for the heads up. I corrected the walkthrough to help avoid this confusion for others

LOL. I came to this thread to ask that same question. Mine isn't triggering, even though I have Brockman free.

I would assume that you have to finish the other one first, since Judge Snyder shows up in the latter parts of the Brockman quest.

I had the same problem, however, I leveled to level 38 again when I unloaded the game from memory and reran it.
I dont have any of the lvl 38 exp that i used to have though..so I lost half a bar. Homers task was only 30 mins or so and its not required for chief wiggum at all. Its two different quest lines that you are seeing.

The only thing different is that my grocery store build vanished and then reappeared when i relaunched the game and it got the patch again
