When I try the link it says I don't have permission. (Was gonna try and fix it for you).
Maybe try imgur. It's really easy to use, free and gives you the relevant codes for pics on the forum

May just be me on my iPad...

Web hosting site called imgur. (Just google it) just click upload, pick a photo, then get the bb code for forums. I'm terrible at this kind of thing but imgur make it easy

Yep  one other tiny thing... There is an option for 'large thumbnail' that is the size you want- its the correct width for the forum so doesn't need scrolling.
(Dw this took me a while to get used to)

    Design looks great.
My only thing would be that the stairs aren't in the middle. You can get around this by shifting all the hedges along one. Remember you don't need hedges behind buildings (town hall or library) so that's a to great place to hide any mismatches with the odd square.

    Hey guys.

I've been redesigning areas of my SF one at a time, and for now I am working on my town hall..... For the first time I've attempted to do it 3D, but to me it just doesnt look right! Could I have some opinions or advice pretty please!

    WtUiGOv.jpg

On the left side of your stairs, simply remove the single hedges, slide full size hedges over towards the stairs. On the bottom left of stairs, remove the last one on the left. On the left of stairs, remove the far left hedge on middle row. Now the left side is done.
On the right of the stairs, you could go with just 3 full hedges on each row, from the right side of the stairs, and use the library to cover up any grass showing, or you could remove that road, and duplicate the right side from the left.

Ooooh, I wish I saw this before posting on another thread. Thanks for the info.

Eta: I just went to imgur and couldn't find large thumb nail. There is an option for square thumbnail, is that what you meant? Suddenly I want to show off some of my designs.

Thanks guys for your advice and tips. I've taken it on-board and actually changed the way it's facing. So this is it now. Better?

(Thank you for picture advice  that was my first time doing it and now I know how to, expect lots of pictures  )

That looks better, more believable to the eye, i had a similar dilemma when i synk the far left section of my plots, i wanted to have elevation there, so now i have a "hill" that fools the eye well, without hedges but the retaining walls and staggered houses helped. Nice job!!

Thanks Barry :) I have added even more now but still not happy with it, so it's a "working progress". The main part is still the same, I've just moved the buildings in front and extended the area :)

What you needed to do in the first version ,starting with bench second from the top and working down was to move bench 2 one space to the left, bench 3 - 2 spaces and so on down. Then adjust the hedges to fit the shifting benches. The hedges that with the visible ends should line up so the top left corner of each hedge touche the bottom left of corner of the hedge above.

That will give you the correct perspective.

Thanks Orion, I think I understand it better now. I have baby brain and that's my excuse for being soooo dippy at the moment.

    You're welcome.

BTW you need to do the same with your new version, just moving to the right instead of left. :-)
