Lots of topics for the same issue. Your town has NOT been lost Origin servers seem to go down daily and as this is an online game your unable to login and play. But when the server issues are resolved you will be able to log in and your town will still be there. For those that have been playing for a time this is old news (more frequent now though) but for the noobs - it's ok nothing is lost all will be returned but you will lose on on the ability to visit friends and get coins until the server issues are fixed...

Yes, lots are having this issue. Some can access their towns but no friends. Some have no access to anything. My son has town & friend access but no origin button. It seems to affect different people in different ways.
yep, i have to origin icon and i can play in my town and i keep being log in but i cant access my friends....thats what happen when you add content over and over without fixing the actual glitchs and bug, its leads to MASSIVE gay glitch and bug...good job ea or origin or whoever did that...
