You need to be promoted to level 2 to have an avatar. You will get a PM telling you when you've been promoted. Promotions generally happen on the 22nd of each month to active posters.

The reason you sig aint working is you need to add the IMG codes at either end of the link. I have put your pic below, quote this post and you will see how the link needs to be so it will work for you
