Personally i would buy the Limited Item 1st

Being this is limited and has taken ages for this car to be brought back into the game, who knows if it will ever return!

When it 1st appeared it was a very thought after item and has been ever since for people who didnt have it. The courthouse will always be there for a later purchase.

For the love of God, get the Duff Racer!!!! Anything limited you should get, the Courthouse will always be there, but the Racer won't! Some People have gone almost a year and a half having missed out on it the first time.

the duff racer is limited and might not come back for a year or never again

the courthouse is not going anywhere..

anything that's limited buy it first as you never know when they are going to release it again anything like the courthouse will be there forever

Buy the limited item without hesitation. You can get the courthouse any time.

Definitely the Duff Racer!!

If you're level 38, you should have at least 49 characters already, and even with a minimal multiplier should be earning $80k or so a day (assuming you're not doing just 24hr tasks). Get the limited time item, wait a few days and then buy the Courthouse. The only thing it'll "cost" you is a few days of being patient, and it's always going to be there for when you get enough cash.

Yep, i definitely agree with the limited item first. You can get the courthouse any time you want. And i personally think that Judge Snyder isn't one of the strongest characters. Courthouse is nice to have but it willbe there 'forever', wating for you to buy it.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm level 32 but around level 24 with the quests and the buildings. Which means i don't have a lot of cash flowing around..

I was thinking: is it worth to stop everything and collect the money for the car? To gather 250k$ i have to stop building things for the main quests for a while, how long the car will stay in the game?

Right now a new building with a character costs around 50k, that means with the money for the car i could get pretty far..but still, limited time only..(homer-face :Q__)

That's me... that's why I pounced on it like a ninja when it was made available again yesterday!

Have to be mentioned that I DO have available cash and already built the courthouse!

Duff racer will disappear on Monday (buy the day before to make sure you get it in time!!).

With regards to new buildings & quests, you should only have one (or maybe two?) level storylines active at a time. If you use up your "savings" on the Duff Racer, you usually should be able to save enough in the time the quest tasks take between doing buildings to buy the next one.

At the end of the day - and this goes for anyone considering limited-time items like this - in-game cash is simply a representation of time spent assigning tasks. If you can afford an item, buy it!! It won't be available to purchase forever. But normal buildings will, and if you have to wait a couple of days doing generic tasks to build up cash for the next building, so be it - it's probably worth the effort of being patient.

Speaking as someone who also is still busy progressing through older questlines (yet I'm lvl 38 ), go for the limited item first.

Personally, I was worried I might not raise enough in time, as I had just bought several new plots of land. Lately I have been waiting till I raise a nice chunk of cash (somewhere between 100k and 150k), and then alternate between buying more land or buying a building that is queued for a quest. My next building to be built is Springfield High School, but now seeing as the racer is up for grabs, I'll be waiting on that.

I'm currently sitting on about 150k, so another 100k to go. Fairly confident I should be able to raise that in the next couple of days, as long as the server doesn't go down again (missed being able to put my chars on overnight tasks yesterday, because of that downtime). They are busy running 1-hour tasks. Add that to money earned through buildings and neighbors and should be more than enough to cover things.

As someone who started playing right after the Duff Racer (within days) became unavailable, I purchased it without a second thought yesterday. I put limited time items ahead of regular buildings because the regular quests will always be there. Get the racer!!!

I haven't built the Courthouse yet because I wanted to save cash for Valentine's event. I'm glad I did it because now I've got the Duff Racer. The Courthouse can wait.

If you really want the car, stop everything and go for it.
I use to stop all the quests when we have a new event or a limited time item. Your quests will be there next week, but the car won't.

I was kinda hoping that i could have bought another Duff Racer when this came out but unfortunately it was only available for the people who didnt have it already, if i could have bought it again i would have bought loads specially as it a cash sale price

Yes, that was pretty nice of EA to make it available for in game cash. We know they read these forums and they would have known that people have been crying out for the return of the Duff Racer for a loooooooong time, so they could easily have made it a donut only purchase.

I'm curious about the Duff Racer since the last update (last night in the UK) and i can't find it anywhere in the store, premiums, anywhere. I'm an android player , have the in game cash to buy it, but it's like, well, just not there in my game. Guessing this is one i'm gonna miss out on which i really want

Did you already have a Duff Racer? If so, you won't be able to purchase another one. If not, trying force closing the game in the app section of your phone/tablet and then re-start. It should be at the end of the decorations menu.

So glad I saw this thread. It didn't tell me there was something new in the decorations so I didn't know it was available. Snatched it up. Not going to miss out like I did with the Swanky Fish.
