ive managed to save up 14 donuts, what should i buy?

Save them. That's 1/4 of the way to Bumblebee Man or 1/6 of the way to Dr. Nick.

Mystery boxes are as good as flushing them down the toilet.

Yeah. Save up like I did. I then spent them on a homer Buddha this morning which gave me a mystery box which gave me four brown fences. Sweet....... :?

Yes save them. Do not buy Squeky Voiced Teen cause you can win him in the mystery box... Well you used to. I have two of him I won from mystery boxes. I wish we could get rid of the second one

sorry but that can't be random, this game is really * sometimes

i've gotten the brown fences 3 times in a row with the weekly mystery box

then i've got the love pond on the wheel 3 times in a row

and now the love fence three times in a row

before i was willing to spend on donuts, i was all about orange/apple trees. had to rely on the bonus xp until i could afford to start shamefully housefarming. ah, the old days (._. )

if you're playing for free i'd just spend the donuts on squeeky voiced teen and don't bother trying to save...they hardly ever come and you won't enjoy the game

Agreed, that's not true. I've spent less than $20 on the game, and I enjoy it very much. My first few premium purchases were with donuts I saved up (one of them was over the donut bonanza that was Halloween, but I still got them all in-game.) I bought Frink after getting an iTunes gift card over the holidays and saved the rest. Been hoarding more donuts since then, and got enough for Otto. Now I'm torn between getting him or Brandine. And those are the choices one must make as a freemium player, and it isn't always enjoyable to do that, but it still possible to enjoy playing without boatloads and boatloads of donuts. (I recently went back to college. I have expenses that take precedent even though I love tapped out.)
