It's up to you if you want to keep spinning but why not continue being a good neighbor and keep visiting and sending your friends cards in case they haven't finished

I'm sure it's been answered before, but I don't jump on the boards very regularly. What's the rationale behind not letting us sell the decorations we get from the wheel? At some point I don't want any more pink fences, so I don't see why I should have to carry 16 of them in my inventory forever.

    THIS!

I collected scads of holiday decorations during both the Halloween and the Xmas events that I don't want anymore and can't get rid of. I hate scrolling through my storage box past dozens and dozens of items I don't need or want. I don't want to end up with a bazillion pink benches, birdbaths, and fountains.

I'm still spinning. Hopefully I'll find a use for all these gazebos at some point. I think they're pretty and all, but they don't fit in just anywhere.

I'd like more ponds and trains.

As a player, you will GET more hearts by visiting neighbors than you RECEIVE from them visiting you. Ergo, visiting neighbors is a selfish thing. Those players still needing/wanting hearts should get out and visit their neighbors in order to acquire them.

I don't need any more hearts ... what I want is to tap and be tapped on Squidport tiles, Channel 6, and Cletus' farm. But while the V-day event is active, I can't get any of that.

No, you are wrong, and selfish, and trying to justify your selfish rationale. First, you only get more hearts than you receive from vists for the first 30 people you visit. The next 10 you get the same, and any more they actually get more than you. Besides, it's not like you're taking away from them by visiting them, so it's in no way selfish. This isn't double-haunting we're talking about here.

And as has been said, you get the opportunity to get more trains (2.25% bonus!) and heart ponds (.75% bonus).

I collected all my wheel items days ago. While I appreciate the bonus % earned on trains and heart-ponds, I am running out of space to hide them. A few duplicate items can be useful, but I can't justify buying land to house items that I don't need or want. As mentioned by others, housing the items in inventory is also a pain.

Also, I've noticed that many of my frequent visitors are not so frequent anymore. I assume it's because they've cleared their wheels and don't care about collecting more items. Personally, I still visit my neighbors daily even though it takes 3 or 4 times longer because often there are no characters that can be tapped. I check back periodically when I have the chance, but since lower level players don't have as many characters to tap, they're at a disadvantage. Rather than continue winning items that merely boost my vanity rating (which is already 5*) I decided to not spin the wheel for a while.

I am hoping that someone at EA makes a decision to either replace some of the items on wheel with donuts, or allow us to purchase donuts with our hearts. I'm not expecting a huge number .... one or two per 200 donuts would be fair, considering that it takes an effort to collect 200 hearts.

Birrdbaths are cool, stick them in your mansion gardens.

I completed the event days ago and still continue to visit all of my neighbours! It's an event and I love events :D I also don't care if I can sell my rewards or not. I place them as I want and ignore the rest until I have more room to use them.
In conclusion, I tap, I spin, I love.

I cleared the wheel today. :D
But I will not stop tapping in my neighbours cities. It's a community game, and your neighbours need your help too.

I'll keep visiting neighbors but I'm done with Valentine's tasks. No more growing roses, serenading Ned, and Milhouse chasing Lisa for me. I finished the wheel a few days ago was just hoping to get a few more fences and benches. I got 4 fence spins in a row today.

As soon as my last crop of roses are finished I'm starting corn again.

I cleared the wheel last week, and have now completed all the Valentines Day related quests. Is there any point in continuing to collect hearts & visit neighbors?

Some of your neighbors (myself included) have not cleared the wheel. I need my neighbors to still visit and I will still visit all of my neighbors. If you don't want anymore wheel items just stop spinning the wheel. I would appreciate still being visited. It's just a couple of weeks before your neighbors will be back to tapping tiles, farm and Channel 6.

I cleared the wheel yesterday with the help of my neighbours. I plan to keep spinning and get more decorations and help my fellow neighbours. Some of the decorations are not that bad. Personally I hate the choo choose train but since it gives a bonus I guess I will hide behind trees and buildings.

I'm still doing the tasks because they amuse me, and I'm still growing roses because it's the only way to get them (even if they did change the design, it's still a new decoration I didn't have before. Anything that livens up my landscaping is worth farming for.)
