I dont believe I am "owed" a gift, i just expect there to be a gift on the actual day of the holiday event as EA has given us one every single time. I for one am happy with anything i am given free in this game. I for one can't wait til we get a event currency to donuts converter again. Been one every year so hoping its soon.

They should have at least given us a statue of history's greatest monster, Jimmy Carter.

I'm glad that they gave out the train. I have no use for the hammock.
Getting the train (which i didnt expect in the first place) completed the wheel for me :-)

Terrible return on investment in what way exactly? This game is entertainment, so the return on investment is the fun you get from playing the game. How much money you choose to spend is up to you and someone who spends hundreds of dollars to get every premium item isn't entitled to any more than someone who spends no money or buys one golden scratcher a month. I assume the game is fun for you because you are here and still playing it, and it's probably more fun for you with the extra items and characters you have purchased.
