Can't Play: Game Stuck At Loading Screen

    3 days now still not getting in the donut spIns and spuns then bart pops up what the heck is going on i want finish vday event.

    SO I DID THIS ON ADVICE ADMIN AND NOW ITS SAYING I DONT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM ON MY PHONE WHEN I DO.

    Android devices
    1. Go to Settings -> Device -> Applications manager -> Tapped Out
    2. Press "Clear data"
    3. Choose "OK"
    4. Launch game
    Game now downloads all updates again
    5. Enter email and password.
    6. You should now get the following error message: "Warning. Your other device didn't save your springfield. please sign into that device before playing"
    7. Choose "Play Now"
    8. You should now get the message "Play anyway? Some progress made on your other device might be lost"

    I cant get into the game either, just get the spinning donut of death then it tells me to turn on notifications in itunes (they are already on) Ive tried uninstall/re-install, hard reset of iphone, everything to no avail. I am not very happy as Ive spent real money on this game and it seems as if EA/Origin dont give a f#$k, this has been happening for me since the vday update I believe they've had enough time to remedy what appears to be a widespread problem, so the biggest question is why havn't they fixed it?

    That would've happen in the next update. I have this same problem on mine! People like me are starting to get paranoid over the game otherwise their progress will be wipe out forever!

    OK so I tried this and it worked for about 5 minutes and I haven't been able to get on the game since noon today. I would simply like to play EA please get this game to have less glitches. Yesterday was my first day.

    I tried this and got no where. I have lost so much money not getting donuts I paid for and now cant play for days, for a game I have spent at least 200 dollars on I am just about ready to go back to playing angry birds.

    Are the servers down? Haven't been able to connect for almost 2 days now. Id like to know what's going on I've spent alot of time and money on this game.

    Same problem here, for the last 6 days three of us here, all with iPads cannot log on!! we can via our iPhones, but not iPads!! so frustrating as all three of us have been purchasing items etc, now cannot even log in to enjoy!!!! and cannot get any help anywhere!!

    The donut goes around three quarters of a turn and then locks up.

    UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

    Every since the valentines day update I go to go into friends village and get kicked right back out. If I'm lucky I get to go to 10-15 friends. This is getting to be VERY VERY AGGRAVATING,!! I think you need to get a bigger server to handle all the updates and traffic to the Simpsons

    This game would be fun if I could play!!

    Okay - I have been playing this game since day 1 on an iPad (version 1). Lvl 38 experienced player here.

    All of a sudden - since yesterday - when the app opens and I must "tap to continue" to get into my town to play the game... the donut spins about half way or 3/4 the way and then the donut stops. It freezes. And the app crashes.

    I've tried restarting my iPad, deleting and reinstalling the app, logging in and out of origin at the first screen, and everything EA says to do on their problem trouble shooting page.

    Nothing lets me get passed the "tap to continue" screen. The donut always stops spinning and the app crashes.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    So I updated my iphone to the latest update and the game wont open since. It stays in the black intro screen. Anyone else?

    I'm having that problem also.....I would love to get all my stuff done today but since the update I can't get in the game! :thumbdown:

    Possible i0S7.1 solution.

    I contacted EA through email and they said this

    I really appreciate your effort in performing requested steps and I genuinely apologize that the matter has remained unresolved. We have some more troubleshooting steps which really worked for most of the players. So I recommend you to perform below steps one by one to assist you further with the issue.

    1. Install Simpsons Tapped Out on a second device, or borrow a device with Simpson Tapped Out installed from a friend.

    2. Once the log in screen shows up on the second device, use your account's email and password to log into your Origin account.

    3. On the second device, you should now be able to log into the town and play the game normally.

    4. In order to fix the issue on you primary device, please perform the following actions on the second device:

    - Collect all quests and house/business money
    - Now, select the “Friends” button and head to the “Other Town”
    - Once in the other town and perform the standard 3 actions.
    - Now head back to the Friends Screen and select “Log Out”

    5. Head back into your main device, launch The Simpsons Tapped Out and log into your Origin account if prompted to do so.

    6. You should now be able to play your game without issues.

    I believe performing the above steps should fix the issue for you. However, if the issue persists let me know so that I can escalate your issue to the specialist team.

    I have tried this so I don't know if it works work or not.

    I can get past the Gracie screen and to the loading screen and on occasion past the 'tap here to play' screen but then my phone usually crashes and reboots. I updated my phone to ios 7.1 this morning and I don't have another device to log in to.

    I cannot get past the loading screen and spinning donut since I did the IOS update yesterday. Please help!

    IOS update killed my play too. That spinning donut and restarting of my phone is really irritating! Please fix EA!
