I think they should of released someting new and free or available for in game cash (not donuts) for the people who already had the stuff from last year, but stikk should of let newer players or people who missed the event for whatever reason get the pub and bush thing
So the newer people would not have a chance to get the new stuff, so that older people continues to feel special ?
Annettemarc I read your story, and it made me laugh, as I often say that sometimes, this forum looks like a school yard. It is as babyish to whine because older people don't feel as special anymore because newer people finally got some limited time items.
This is not a competition, and everyone is entitled to have any item that was once in the game.
if you read what I said, I said that the people who are newer or missed the event for some reason last year (eg. I missed half of wacking day becuase I lost my phone) can still get the pub and bush thing that we got last year but it would of been nice to have a new, free thing as well so that players who got the stuff last year still get something new out of it (besides the donuts obviously :-) ) and then obviously the people who weren't playing last time get that thing too, as well as the pub and bush.

But I don't know where the unique wording came in as I've never seen anything listed as unique.
Anything you can't get more than one of is unique. I don't think they actually list it as unique, it's just a term used for such an item. The Duff Racer, as mentioned, is unique. Most buildings are unique. Stuff like that.
How does that make it unique, all of TSTO is unique sort of and not at all. If two people have the DR then it's not unique, being that there's more than one.

Which is fine... it's great that they get a chance to get these things but I also understand what you're saying about it not being as special as it once was now that you can buy as many as you want.

I'm a mostly free player so I don't have the donuts to throw away on the two premiums and since I was here last year the only new item available to me is the statue... where as the newer players get the building and character plus everything else which.. as I said.. IS FINE. So in that sense the newer players are getting more out of this update than someone like me. I have nothing against new players getting stuff it just would have been nice to have a couple other options.

You already have it, and don't deserve new stuff, you would only complain they got 2 as much as you. Your not entitled to get a bunch of stuff for an update. What amazes me the most out of this whole thread is that you all remember how you got the topiary last year. This was what I did this year "It's almost *. Paddy's Day, let me check my inventory to see what decorations I have tucked away...oh, I have a topiary but I wonder why I only got one. Oh well." Today I get the update and the first thing I do is check out the content. I see the topiary and think that I better buy more since I only have one, then I grab the statue and feel a bit disappointed that I don't have enough donuts for the premium items and seriously consider buying donuts because I LOVE *. Paddy's day.

Yep, that's why I find this game less appealing now, it's seems its starting to cater for newer plays more so than veteran players who have been playing since day dot. Iam starting to loose my love for this game, which I thought couldn't happen?
