i just appreciate that for every negative thread title here, there's an opposing positive one like this. thanks for posting it, Aaron!
this world is full of people who think everything is owed to them. and the irony is that usually those people can afford more than most. free players like myself are stoked to get the Irish pub for an astounding bargain, while premium players whine because the opportunity to have another exclusive item like the shamrock cafe isn't enough.
i have to laugh, or else their sense of entitlement would just disgust me.
remember whiners, complaints on a forum like this just make you appear negative and spoiled. you're certainly not garnering any sympathy from those of us who accept that it's JUST A GAME.
IF YOU REALLY DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PLAY.
honestly if I was a developer, I'd WANT stale **** to churn out and make room for enthusiastic newbies. good riddance to the negativity. how many new forum posters pick up on that negativity and propel it?
AGAIN, IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE GAME, DON'T PLAY IT. UNINSTALL IT TODAY, POST YOUR RATING AT THE STORE, AND DON'T COME BACK. its the only statement you'll make that will actually matter. otherwise you are just a whiny hypocrite, which is nothing to be proud of at all.
Thanks I was trying to make an opposite post to all the negative one(s). I'm so sick of complaining people never wanting to say thanks fro what they got. The more we want something the more EA has to get it right before they give it to us, SSB, Monorail ect... And somebody will hate it anyway because it's not what they imagined. Get a job at EA, work on TSTO and make it how you want it and we will complain what a terrible job you did. This game is what it is, and it not going to be a $30-$50 game were when finished you either loved or hated it.
I thought this Saint Patrick's Day update was okay but it could have been a lot better. They have only added one new character and one new building which was premium. I obviously bought the Shamrock Cafe because I buy every single premium item in the game. I really liked the building but the Yupperchaun was not all that great because when you tap on him he dose the same thing as the Green Leprechaun. They also added one decoration which was the leprechaun statue. It is an awesome decoration in my opinion. It is not the best update we received but at least we got an update!
I'm meh on the green water, definitely different so it grabs your attention each time you load up the game, but definitely not better! It does take away from the heart shaped island I made for the valentine update, making it look like it's in a fetid swamp:
Think it would look better an an inny rather than an outty.
Yeah, but then I couldn't have the arrow through the heart.
So to those of you old timers, I'm guessing next up is Easter? From what I've read in these forums, it's unlikely we would get something else before then, though I am keeping my fingers crossed!
No way this update is the best. Not even top three. IMO
If this were a poll I'd likely vote for the first Halloween event from two years ago.
Of course I am a sentimentalist at heart and that was the event that really hooked me on TSTO so my memories are most fond of that.
I'm kinda glad that new players are gettin a chance at most of the old stuff in these new updates but feel for them as it must be overwhelming to try and make money and do events. With fewer buildings and fewer characters it's gotta be rough.
Does anyone know when this update last? There's no time showing and I feel like doing the quests slower. I'm asking because I sped up the July 4th update last year thinking that I didn't have time to finish the quests, but I had time.

I read on a different forum that it ends on the 25th

Usually, as long as you start the quest line, it lets you finish it. It's happened in my husband's town many times, but if there is a new update and quests, it can be a little overwhelming to catch up. The only time he has missed out was when there is a set event time with tier rewards.

Comic Book Guy: Last night's Itchy & Scratchy (this update) was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever(worst update ever) Rest assured, I was on the Internet(EA forums) within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.
Bart: Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain?
Comic Book Guy: As a loyal viewer(premium player), I feel they owe me.
Bart: What? They've given you thousands of hours of entertainment for free! What could they possibly owe you? If anything, you owe them!
best. analogy. ever.
Except Bart wouldn't say that. Maybe Lisa, but definitely not Bart.
