Ideas for the escalator to nowhere

I put mine in the grounds of my mental hospital, seemed fitting that it would get the most use there!

I am trying (in progress) of making mine look like a processing center for the Krustyburger. I made a walkway so they think they are going to the sunsphere but then drop into the basement of the Krustyburger. I need to think on this some more though....I can't figure out how to finish it off

The funniest idea I've seen for the escalator was putting it behind the plant so it looked like people were falling into the cooling towers. I watched that for about five minutes, just giggling.

Wow thanks everyone for all your replies and thanks for the links to the other threads. I have loads of ideas now. I will post a pic when I decide what to do. Still have over a day before it is finished. I love the ideas of using the elevator to drop people into another building - I just need to decide what to drop into. Maybe a drop into the Irish pub for them to get drunk?

I might trying posting a pic of mine later, but I have it behind the Courthouse, and leading straight to the prison. Makes sentencing criminals easy. The Police station is next door to the Courthouse, and the donut shop is in front.

Depending on how you place the "exit" of the escalator, you can make it hide behind buildings, so it looks like they fall into the building.

For a while I had the escalator leading up to a housing estate that I had made with 3-d hedges, so it was a way of people getting up the hill.

I can't buy any more land, so I have had to work with what I have. I decided that as the Buddhist religion believes in reincarnation, maybe the evevator, going round and round could go there and be unique.
So I extended my maze around it.

I'm glad it's not just me that is obsessed with creating a nice city. My husband thinks I'm mad. He was hoping that a year down the line I would be bored with it. This time last year though I only played every now and again tho lol.

I have wanted to pair the escalator with the mall and build one of those home-brew style parking decks made of parking spots and wooden fences, so it looked like it was going to the top of the deck.

I like the reincarnation reasoning though! Great choice, OP!
