I don't play that much but I have been playing this game for 1.5 years and I can tell you that this is unprecedented in waiting this long for a level. I know I'm not alone on this. I know josh will agree with me on this one, might be. A first. I think the people telling me to chill out is just silly. This is what a forum is for.... Using our voice. I've been waiting for it for a long while now. I don't get why people don't understand how boring it is at level 38 without ANYTHING going on. Meaning all the land is purchased, all the buildings purchased, and these latest storylines only lasting a few days. My Saint Patrick's Day stuff finished yesterday (last night really) and now I got this tie-in storyline - but I imagine will be all done by Friday. Then nothing again.
While yes I am using the time for designs, but I feel less reason to log in. I also got Stampy last night as well.
I love little updates like this. Some of you guys are so impatient! These little guinea pigs are so cute when they roll up in a ball. I wonder if I hadn't tapped any of them if I could keep 40 of them roaming instead of just the 1 we will get.

I don't speed up the tasks, well some of the 1 hour ones I do. I didn't speed up Homer's Saint Patrick's one due to the awesome animation.
I did speed up his 24 hour task to start this tie in (random task to do Monkey Trauma one, I had just started it an hour earlier). Lisa I was smart enough to put on the Thanksgiving skin to go to the brown house, so that was easily cancelled.

I'm definitely not speeding up tasks, I don't know why people do. There is more than enough time in between updates to do the tasks.
Seems the new update lets you get the strupo statue for 20 donuts, the guinea pig rescue center from the quest involved for free, and the opportunity to get a guinea pig for 40 donuts when the quest is complete.

Don't get me wrong... They are cute but where the H.... E... Double hockey sticks is level 39? This tie in junk is a slap in the face! They better have something good coming (like land) for keeping us waiting.
Maybe it's just me, but people who say "this is a slap in the face" when they don't get something they want deserve a slap in the face. Funny how that works.

The original whacking day episode aired April 29th people assume that is the day or somewhere near there- so the event is april/may.
