Wow, that's an old thread. Some people showing their age! (Forum age that is). Well I wasn't around them, and coincidentally I've just explained my user name on another thread, so I'll do it again here.
The 68k part of my name is short for 68000, being the processor in the Commodore Amiga and Sega Genesis/Megadrive systems. I used to develop games for them many years ago, and recognise the Motorola 68000 as being great fun to work with. Coming from Z80 and 6502 coding, it was like going from a Kindle to an iPad. Now how geeky do I sound now?
Evilashhhh96: Mine is from the character evil ash from the movie evil dead 3: army of darkness, hold over from old yahoo accounts etc. and it just kinda stuck, the extra hhh is because years ago when I wanted it I had to add them to the end. The 96 is because my wifes brother races a Sprint Car and that is his car's number
It became a salutation between myself and fellow chefs when I worked at a catering company a few years ago. When answering each others phone calls, sending texts or just a bewilderment of **** are you doing, chef? 13 is there for aesthetic beauty.
EA wanted me to choose a name when burnout paradise came out. I needed one that nobody chose. Most if my gaming names are food related. I'm a professional Chef.

Ur_wack452 comes from when I began in law enforcement almost 8 years ago. I would go on my patrol in the gang infested streets of Newburgh and Middletown, NY. After arresting someone and during the booking process I was told numerous times "N-word your a$$ is wack" so hence the name ur_wack. The 452 is my shield number. Thats the origin of mine
I've had many usernames but I've been using xrobotlove for years and I now use it exclusively. It comes from livejournal days, my entire journal or I guess what would be a blog now was designed with love robots. Because I love robots. I draw them all the time, boxy ones with cutesy hearts holding hands. Somewhat an homage to explodingdog.com which has amazing robot and stick figure artwork. (People email the artist titles and he draws pictures accordingly, and they're each titled the persons submission.)
Robot love also comes from the joy I get when I google image the words "robot love":
That's pretty much the style that I draw in.
And the x is just, ya know. I always put an x in my usernames.

We patrolled Bayji, Iraq so that is why I picked Bayji_Gunner.
After entering my email address it decided on my username and before I could read properly I clicked ok.
Well maybe I wasn't conned, maybe I'm just too damn impatient.
Ditto. Serves me right for not reading.
I usually go by Lamson, which I understand means total victory in Vietnamese.
Showing my support for the Australian rules football team the Geelong Cats!
