I don't think English is their first language. Good to hear they have solved it though...

I liked the bit about your town

So it seems the "I took a look at your town / I'm impressed, top level towns are a hive of activity / found some donuts, Homer is looking portly" lines are their standard reply. And here I thought I was special :(

Good to know our towns are safe again! :D

I don't know about you, but the name Bishambhor sounds like his first language is English.

I would hold off any celebrations.

I have seen the bit about the lost internet connection being given to people since last year, I don't believe it. Since most random invaders will leave without damaging your town, it's a lot easier for them to tell you a story to calm your fears.

There was a sticky on the Bugs and Issues forum not too long ago claiming that the issue had been resolved. It was reversed a short time later. It still lists it as an ongoing problem. It was last edited March 10.

So you got more donuts for this than I did for losing my town for 2 months

I am fairly skeptical. The first (and so far only) time I got logged into another players town was Friday, imeadeately after I downloaded the level 39 update. Also, in another very long thread on this exact same topic another user reported they got logged into the wrong town for the first time this morning...

There was a thread in bugs & issues claiming the problem was resolved in January.

    Just sayin.

This along with the other recent post with a copy of the ea chat conversation proves that ea has farmed the making and tech support out to some bottom dollar company in India.

I really apologies for the inconvenience you have faced due to your level reset which yo had earlier. As per your certain about the random town which the customer face was due to some technical glitch from end. You need not worry, it has already been resolve by our development team.
I am an expert detector of **** and misguided confidence. This is one of the two. I would bet a lot of money that it hasn't been fixed.

In fact, I think you should make your thread title more cynical because I am 99.9999999992% certain he doesn't know what he's talking about.

It may or may not be fixed but at least they acknowledged it and are trying to fix it.

If they really think it's resolved they aren't trying to fix it.

I've been a several times a day player since August '13 and I've never gotten logged into the wrong town...until today. So, no, it is most definitely NOT fixed.

There should be a thread where you can post every time you get logged into the wrong town. It would be nice to see how often it's happening and so forth. We can title the thread "Boycott Donuts--Until they fix this."

There's a thread in the bugs & issues forum that could use the consistent bumps: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10008273.page

There's also this one on this forum: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10041299.page

I'm chiming in to say that it also happened to me for the first time about 15 minutes ago- I was logged into someone else's account. So no, not fixed.

    It hasn't been fixed.

And keep in mind, the 'tech support' people answering most inquiries about the game don't even play it - they have no idea what the hell you're talking about. It's just the same standard answers, over and over again.

Took them 6 weeks to 'escalate' my issue to a specialist (who actually knew the game) before my issue was fixed - that my Valentine's wheel reset itself on the last day. I *just* got the Tunnel of Love ride the other day.

Nueroheart, I see you consistently bumping these threads and adding links to them. Thank you! New members to the forum deserve to know about this before they spend money on donuts. J
