What's the deal with the golden pool?

It says it's animated, but I'm not impressed..

i had to buy it due to a quest, but it seems no one uses it..
ya that was a waste, i shouldve saved for lois first

Speaking of which Lois is kind of expensive at 4,000 coins. I'm about a half way there I have about 2,000.
money accumulates so slowly, we need multipliers lol

This is why people are doing office farming since they generate a lot of coins per hour.
Tinyco is taking down the neighbor system for 1-2 weeks to fix the bugs since it's that system that causes the current bugs, so I suggest you just save up your coins until they re-add their neighbor system.

I was wondering did they intentionally rip off how TSTO starts because they intentionally rip off from The Simpsons anyways. Really surprised the game isn't a total fail. Seems the wait time isn't too bad for jobs but I will need to save clams as I'm not spending the $ I put into this game in the beginning. It's surprisingly fun and looks good. I think TSTO got less fun after Jan because the Halloween and Xmas updates were high points for me. I will still play both but TSTO is my 1st love. FG has its moments

They are "ripping off" Tapped Out because they see the cash cow the game has become and want in. In a way it is kind of a lame move, but they've changed enough for it to be good in it's own right. Also, does anyone expect Cleveland and his family to be included soon since The Cleveland Show got cancelled and those characters are supposed to transition into background characters for Family Guy soon.

It's obviously Fox that saw a market for another of these games.

So far I'm enjoying FG. The tasks are entertaining and quite involved. The only critisism I have thus far is how awkward and annoying it is to move items around your town.

Starting in the fall fox will start doing what tsto does and put episode tie ins into the game.

You'll get there eventually. Every time you complete a quest, you get some coins and they add up fast. Got her yesterday. Unlocking her with tasks, however, can take longer. I'm almost there; just 3 tasks left in the lipstick section.

I'm enjoying the game. I just wish there are parking lots. But I love the pool, fire hydrant, bus stop and bus stop signs. :)

I can't add any neighbours. I added some people on Facebook. One of them appeared automaticly in my neighbour list, e rest do not. Not one single person.

I had this issue today as well. I went to account info and clicked log out of facebook then closed app, deleted cache, went to settings - facebook - apps approvals - turn off family guy then back on. Log back on game and go to account info and log back into facebook. It's a lot of steps but it fixed the issue as my neighbors appeared

Yeah getting closer now. I built some buildings with good payouts in the bank, mini mart, etc and sent characters on a bunch of tasks. I have about 3850 coins now. Hmm sounds like unlocking Lois's tasks takes a while. I like the game as well. I wish there was a multiplier in the money system like tapped out. It also would nice if the building system wasn't so crappy (having to pay clams for more workers and the clumsy interface in moving buildings) and you could cancel tasks.

The game is way to expensive. Already spending way to much on tapped out. Other huge games run 15 bucks a month that I used to play. Have it now but got back into words for friends. To each his own.

I think the game is great. Has enough differences from Simpsons to keep me interested, and the story/jokes are great.

A lot of negativity here seems a little premature. If you like the show, and like TSTO, seems like this FG game should be right up your ally.

I'm enjoying the game. Almost got Lois. 300 coins to go. I love that you can earn extra skins. It means that I've always got tasks and quests to do! I love that some buildings take very little time to build. I get that some think it's a TSTO rip off but I disagree. Build-a-town games are hardly new.

Good job! I am about to buy her. I'm level 7.

Oh I remember what else I like now. I like that you can pick up characters and move them! I've always wished you could do that with TSTO. I like that you can upgrade your migrant workers to work faster. I can't yet but I'm saving clams to do so. I wish there was a daily prize.

Yeah, they get in the way in tsto, i like the way that you can drop them into a building and it shows their quests with that building

I'm finding it really annoying that I'm sending my characters on tasks but the timer isn't going down! Or barely!

Set Jerome and Quagmire on 4 hour tasks at 11pm last night - they have not finished up to now.

Tried the whole waiting for a couple mins to ensure they start it, force closed the app but it's still the same :(

    It's hindering my progress!!
