At this point it's happening in my town once a week (that I know of). Thankfully the last few unauthorized tappers just moved an item or two around, which I appreciate because then I know that this issue has not been remedied.
So what's the deal, EA? When will you finally fix this?
This happened to me last night, and I lost 120 donuts and a bunch of money I'd been saving up for something. Now I have a stupid second Lard Lad and Calmwood. Thanks, intruder. This has to stop.
Ahhh ... I was wrong. They weren't so nice. They put stuff in storage and sold it. I must have logged in and booted them out before they got too far ...
I think someone almost accessed my town today. I just logged on and got the message that says, "Success! Your Springfield has been saved and you can now play on your other device."
This is extremely odd, since I didn't try to play on one of my other devices and get the message that my Springfield hadn't been saved. So I think it's likely that someone else was thrown into my account, did get that message, and (thankfully) exited the game without making it to my town.
This just happened to me today. I went to go play my game and I suddenly ended up on someone else's game. I was so confused. I logged out immediately because I know if it were my game I wouldn't want someone else on it. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Also I keep getting bumped off because apparently my "account has been signed in on a different device."

Just happened to me, for the first time. I also logged out from the strange town immediately. i'm really scared someone could be logging in my Springfield and messing my town. I also keep geeting the signed in on a different device message.
Apparently it's pretty rampant right now. Someone logged into mine and wrote their name (or somehow they live in Petra which, actually, would be pretty impressive). Happily it didn't look like they spent anything. My neighbor had someone write I IOU Mousese which I assume is their ID and not just atrocious spelling; At least I hope. Oh Boy, do I hope...
Mine literally just did this. That's why I came on here. I have received messages stating that my town has been logged into on a different device several times but having never experienced it first hand I viewed it as a glitchy error message rather than people had actually been logging into my Springfield.
I am grateful that there has been no negative outcomes so far but this seriously needs to be fixed as soon as possible! My worry is that people with little/no respect for the effort (and in a lot of cases money) others have put in might take to seriously messing up someones town.
I was put into the wrong town today for the second time. The town looked familiar but I didn't look around at all...got out immediately. I can imagine the fury premium players must feel over this issue!
Okay, actually read previous posts as opposed to skim reading. This is awful! What the h*** EA?! (I don't want to give them an excuse to block this message for swearing or anything, but I am angry) This is ridiculous! Don't start a war with your customers.
I only just realised 1) It's been going on for so long and 2) the extent of the damage to some peoples' towns. It may seem petty to non-players but you have to appreciate the dedication people put into your product.
As for those that have been wronged I say give up with trying to get EA to do the right thing, their customer service is terrible. Get it out there to everyone else, twitter, facebook, blogs, even some TV programmes will find it an interesting story. If EA isn't going to sort it directly then shame them into sorting it, because obviously that's the only way they'll listen. You have to interrupt their cash flow.
And if you're feeling petty EA go ahead and delete my town for telling people what they should do. I don't care anymore, cos you aren't getting a penny more out of me until this gets sorted PROPERLY!
I was logged into the wrong town this morning, logged straight out, person had thousands of donuts so I worry what someone else had/will do if they log in..
Almost everytime I open the app I get the "your game wasn't saved on other device" message, prompting me to continue. I guess someone is logging into my account but thankfully not doing any damage.
