Most of my baskets come in the evening at a pretty steady rate of 1 or 2 per day. The husband, on the other hand got no baskets for 4 days and then got 6 last night.
I've gotten 2 baskets in the last 5 days and one of those was filled before I logged off. I've finished the quest line and just trying for the big egg now. I really hope that basket odds are not tied to the quest because I am NOT buying them.
The first week I was hitting 1-2 a day. Then had a 2-3 day lapse of nothing. Then last weekend I got 7 baskets (pretty evenly split too 4-3). This past week had 1 over the last 4 days.

Its already so much harder to get eggs without the 250 bonus eggs for the questline.. and now i haven't even been getting any baskets..
Also this. But I have been picking up donuts at a ridiculous rate from friend visits, so at least I'm getting lucky in one aspect of the game.
Same for me. Since the quest line finished, no baskets. There's a big lack of egg income now. I did pick up 3 donuts visiting friends though which is nice.
I haven't received a basket in the last two days. Before this, I would get 2 or 3 each day, so it would appear that the latest update decreased the odds of getting them. I already bought one of each color on the first day (before I knew they would randomly appear) and I'm not willing to spend another hard-earned donut to purchase another.
I already have most of the "good stuff" from the pink/blue boxes. I've been trading in my common (blue) eggs with my neighbors, as my pink box pays can 300 gold eggs (assuming I don't get another beach towel or more fence). When I finally get enough for a gold box, I keep hoping for something good...but keep getting those stupid fences. It's a real let-down, considering the effort involved.
Someone needs to tell EA that fence pieces (especially those with no multiplier properties) are NOT premium items. The Gold Box items should have been limited to characters who can perform tasks and items with multipliers, only.

At least you can trade those 400 pink eggs for 200 blue eggs if your neighbors have pink baskets. I'm getting no baskets, no big influx of either color, and putting the pink eggs I get into neighboring baskets cuts my (now very limited) egg earnings in half. I went from two or three boxes a day to one a day pretty quick.
I think they should just scrap the whole basket part of this event, because it a colossal fail. Not that they should be given out more, I know people will say we're not owed anything, just that when we do actually win some, they might not work.
I have 3 baskets in my town and I just found out they are broken. So I've given out thousands of eggs, and got nothing back. Not that I expect any back, but I didn't even get the chance to get some eggs back, because my baskets are broken.

I love the idea of sharing with/trading with/helping neighbors. To be honest, I'd probably have bought a lot more baskets to supplement a small guaranteed daily amount for free. That is, if we got at least 1 or two a day, I'd buy 1 or two more just because I'm too lazy to wait. And, y'know, if they weren't glitched for some people.
As it is now, I think I've only "won" 5 since the event started. I play obsessively. :?

In the beginning I got plenty of both colors.. Then I stopped getting my uncommon color baskets and ended up having a stockpile of 6 common baskets. Last 4 days ive gotten none at all.. Of course now Im done with getting prizes from my common color and want to work on uncommon color and of course I have no baskets to assist that with..
Im left with using my 5 remaining common color baskets to get as much of them as I can to trade with friends for uncommon color. Not the best way but the only way until I start getting baskets again..
On the last task of the quest today so I stopped collecting baskets well before I was done with the story line.
It's strange. I thought I was going through a dry spell but I looked in inventory and had like 4. I wonder why it no longer shows up on screen when a bunny is tapped or zapped.
Got the main quest done but haven't had baskets for some time and I do not intend to buy them. Blue boxes I have evreything so I need more pink eggs. And can't there be a golden egg basket? Aggravating that the only way to get gold eggs is by chance with the blue and pink boxes... Come on EA! Give us a golden egg basket.
