I'm done. This event sucked, and the plain truth of it is that this game isn't fun, or interesting, or enjoyable in any way. It's a chore, and EA makes you feel like you're constantly being hit up for money. It would be worth paying some money if you felt like you were getting something out of it, but at the end of the day, what did you get? You get a little decoration that does some silly animation on your screen. And with this absurd Easter event, it wasn't even that--what you get is the *remote possibility* of getting a character, or a building, after enduring WEEKS of constant tapping and game crashing. The amount of time required to get this tiny bit of reward--the *chance* of a payout--doesn't make it feel like you've accomplished anything meaningful. Instead, it made me feel like an idiot...repeatedly. I put up with all the other events for a year and a half. I'm ashamed that I let it go on as long as I did. At least I can say that I didn't spend actual cash. I feel sorry for those who've sunk so much real money into this game--you're trapped into this feeling of obligation to continue playing because you've spent money on things that don't actually do anything to enrich your life.

So, I'm done.
truth be told i'm not far off stopping myself i was already getting slightly bored of the game and was hoping for a good event to interest me until the next level update but this event was just a pathetic joke
far too much work for the chance to win something, stupid egg trading not helped by the fact most of my neighbors only have blue baskets out (blue is my uncommon egg), baskets that are glitched and now for me never dropping and increased crashing.
i have money on the game which in a little way keeps me playing but if the next level update isn't the greatest the game has ever had i will be calling it quits then.
I've had to replace about 6 neighbours so far due to towns being left vacant Some people who are forum people i am hanging on for just in case but doesnt look to good the amount of people who are leaving playing the game
I have had several that are MIA, I am going to start getting rid of them today, except one. She was a forum regular when I first started posting here, so I am holding out hope she will start playing again, she was a cool person.

It's always tough contemplating deleting old forum regulars, with all the good memories associated with them.
I've been trying to be lenient, even though it's an event. Some have returned to tapping, some are still not doing so, for whatever reason.
I had deleted a few prior to the event; people who hadn't played since Valentine's Day or thereabouts. Others, I have waited. Right now, I have 2 people who haven't played in 5-6 Weeks, so I am figuring it's time for them to go.
After a week of inactivity removed 5 more neighbors yesterday and moved into highest friends leaving category. But I also scored the blocko store so good and bad...
I think the rate of "friend replacement" now is about the same as it was for me during our last major event, so doesn't really seem tied to the event itself, but rather that it is just the "normal" average amount of folks moving on to other things, looking for the next new "shiny".
Unlike for us die-hards, Tapped Out won't be the main priority for everyone forever, so having to replace x-amount of neighbors each event is kind of to be expected.
I've lost a few. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone deleted me, I haven't been visiting lately. (About to now, though ) But I do get on at least twice a day to clear handshakes.
It'd be a crime against nature to drop an awesome looking town like yours. I've always managed to find stuff to tap on. Sometimes it's hard to find, but I'll find it if it's out there.
I've been deleting them a couple at a time so I can't be sure, but I voted 4-7 cos I think it's less than 10. Either way, I noticed even more players with nothing to tap while visiting today, so that's usually a sign I'll have to delete them in a day or so.

I've deleted several players to allow me to add some forum regulars to my game, however, i have dropped a couple of neighbours in the game today, might be because i've been so busy lately it's hard to get on the game sometimes to clear handshakes. Happy to say that i'm back up to 100 friends now

Overall, I have 5-6 people to remove, I think.
I am seeing an increase.
