  At least with the wheel all the items were displayed. With the random box you'll notice that certain items won't even scroll past with each "spin"

  ^ This. At least the wheel gives the illusion you might actually get anything on there.

  I hate both of them. I dunno about others, but after a few days of trying to "control" the wheel during the Christmas, I got over the "maybe I can control where it lands" phase.
