Intermediate Solution for the lags...

I have put all characters in indoor tasks. And put the non-taskable characters in the inventory.
The effect is, that the game runs better again...
I'll go try that. Back in a while ... I have about 89 characters ... Maybe more.

I know EA is aware of this situation and are looking into resolving issue
It's only an intermediate solution until EA fix the game.
any solution is good at the moment the juddering is a nightmare
according to the people in the know......EA are all over this trying to sort the issue
1st of all
2nd you are defo not alone in this situation that is for sure lol
Also, collecting all the rents worked wonders. No more wiggling dollar signs or floating dollar signs.. (That was fun! Haven't done that in ages! Sorry neighbors.)
Now I can zip from one corner of SF to another. (Starting to look like a ghost town though. ...)
Thanks for the suggestion! I can play again.
Picky, picky, picky.
EA will never/hardly ever post hereto let us know , although I can say that I/the mods have been told that EA are aware and looking into sorting this situation as soon as they can, if we are told anything more we will let you all now
Good to hear! I was thinking EA added the lag on purpose to pay us back for all of our complaining about the Easter event
At any rate, the rest of my town is somewhat playable once I stopped putting anyone on tasks, but if I enter SP, it just freezes up. At least i can now keep going with the level 40 story line, somewhat slowly anyway.
For now, I guess I will just wait to see if EA can fix this, before booting everyone off SP.
I like the way you think :P
at least you can play Chris I can't even log into my game
And unfortunately the longer you're locked out, the more chaotic the animation gets. In my SF, there was a considerable improvement after I collected rents. As the buildings in a town become collectible, the dancing icons overhead add a lot of jiggle. I needed to creep along the edges and work my way in, collecting as I went. Felt like the CSI forensics team at a crime scene.
I have a suggestion for the person who managed the miracle of getting characters onto Squidport. Probably won't work, but ... Try sliding over to the beachfront area with Squidport just offscreen. Zoom in as close as possible. Then move over onto Squidport, staying zoomed in, and do whatever you wanted done there. MAYBE if there are fewer active elements on the screen at one time, it can handle it better.
(I, like, totally made that up. Totally. Like, fer shure. But its worth a shot.
Collecting all the rents definitely does help somewhat....i'm so used to leaving a bunch uncollected so that people can tap on them..
That's pretty scary
Hello neighborino...
I've noticed it... If I want to visit you, my game crashes... :?
