I would have enjoyed the event if I had not been a victim of basketlessness (hmmm... strange-looking word construct. :) and evil odds.

Had the event played out in the manner it was suggested it would, I think it would have been fun. I like grinding for events. I have no problem visiting all neighbors and tasking characters to earn the in-event currency, or opening the game many multiple times a day. I'm even willing to buy the generators.

The odds were designed to be grueling. Adding the dearth of baskets, and the "no-basket-until-finding-the-Faberge egg"
requirement made this event like a 1930s style dance marathon. Anyone remember the film, They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

Complete garbage, easily the worst event in 2 years.

I finished the easter tasks quite quickly and then received no baskets, because I never received the Faberge Egg.

Some of the characters were okay, but the percentage chance of getting them was useless, unless you had baskets to get more eggs or spent donuts to buy eggs.

It also seemed that in the last few weeks, I was getting significantly less eggs per day.

I thought Valentines Day was pretty bad, passable, but bad, this event was a whole other island of uselessness in a sea of diarrhea.

I'd give it a C- at best. I think the idea was pretty good - what with the tapping and zapping of bunnies, collecting eggs, sharing them with neighbors via baskets, and all of the prizes (klaven), it really had potential to be a really good update with a great social component.

But the implementation and mechanics STANK! Three wheels of chance was just inane. The odds were terrible so we couldn't get all the prizes no matter how hard we worked, and defective/broken or just plain unavailable baskets killed the social aspect.

So, I'd give the creative/design folks an A, and the marketing/developers an F-, resulting in an overall C-.

My real gripe is with all of these events....EA never fully explains the mechanic or working of the "system" at the time of the event.

They tell you to tap bunnies and that's about it. We wait for the code readers and forum members to figure out the logistics of "how to play"....and by the time it gets to every layman, it may be too much time wasted doing EA's simple task and not thinking strategy through.

The most rage-inducing moment: Amassing 500 pink eggs to spin and get 100 gold eggs, spending 500 blue eggs to spin and get 300 gold eggs, spend another 500 pink to get 100 gold, spin a gold box... and wait for it... 250 pink eggs. Or doing the same and netting 2 pastel fences without ANY bonus...

Maybe I shouldn't be shocked that EA didn't realize how much rage this would induce, but I guess I am.

I've spent a few donuts on specific, event-only items in the past, but this was painful. 300 donuts in the last day in order to finally get enough spins for the main characters/buildings. The above scenario played out for me exactly, a couple of times actually, and it was really painful knowing I spent donuts to get gold eggs, that then turned into pink eggs.

If the next event is like this, I'll be sitting out I think.

The only reason why its s D and not an F in my book was the creativity of it all. they took a holiday that in my eyes, is already fairly lackluster and created something different and entertaining.
The biggest problem I had was with the randomness. I understand that in the end they want my money and gambling is a great way to make this app sticky, but there is a fine line you have to walk with how much random you put into your rewards.

Tapping rabbits that give you a random egg color and banking that egg color to 500 in order to spend on a mystery box seems fine. However, Inside that mystery box you just dumped 500 eggs on is a chance to "win" more eggs of a different variety (hopefully gold?) oh, you also need to bank 500 of those and it will take more than 1 "lucky" spin to do it. Fast forward past all the fences/ponds and you've now burned down over 1000 eggs and have little to show for it. Except for these amazing golden eggs! SURPRISE! its a different fence.

This update would have been amazing if there was a global egg ticker similar to the x-mas update. Then everyone that mainly got fences/ponds would have still felt like they progressed towards something. Once I saw how deep the RNG went in this update i decided no donuts shall be awarded to EA... this time...

Really bad. It'll probably be worse during the next event.

An F. To many eggs required to open the boxes or to little eggs given. I didn't get most of the prizes and I'm a twice a day player withover 80 friends. You suck EA.

500 eggs per box was a joke since 250 would've been reasonable since it takes a while to pile up these eggs especially getting same crappy decoration prizes each time. I would've like at least a small chance for a random bunny to give out a gold egg instead trying to get it from the prize box. The only saving grace from this disgrace easter event is some of the worthy prizes like Blocko store, Hugs Bunny & Banana Dictatorship! So it gets a D grade for the result!

The only reason I didn't give it an F was because it was actually a creative idea. I've never felt so hopeless about obtaining prizes before. I finally had forgiven them for Christmas 2013 and not getting Clausco after having spun over 100 times, but this event was just ridiculous. I actually gave in and bought 50 donuts worth of pink eggs and the only decent thing I got was that gold box bunny  I get it's not really guaranteed but come on EA, not enough eggs and baskets, and why decrease the eggs while visiting friends?! Why is one friend more important than another. And it friends are taking the time to visit why is it when they tap my town you couldn't give eggs too? Kinda like Halloween. Oh, and why not have more characters earn eggs? So, neat idea very poor execution. Please do better next time.

C because it was nice to get some of the cool stuff like characters and buildings for FREE but also a pain with the low chances and endless amounts of egg piles and trees won which caused great disappointment.... I didn't get everything either :/

I felt it was a D. A lot of the quests were good and the prizes were nice, but the execution was awful. Minimum boxes needed for prizes was fail number one. Random chance, but only random on the downside is worse than how even real casinos work. Baskets drop rates were awful and again based on random chance. Broken baskets on the last day of the event was a disgrace. The Fabrege egg, more random chance.

I don't mind spending money on this game, but the design of the event was so off putting I took the donuts I purchased specifically for the event and bought premiums.

I won everything but Shary, but I still felt overall that the event was pretty weak.

I give it a C. Mainly because I didn't spend anything and picked up a couple of nice buildings, though I had hoped for more. My biggest problem with it was the no egg, no basket thing. Rabbits dropping the egg was entirely random and their not dropping baskets before that happened really hampered me. Took me 13 days to get it. Even though I played it every day, I feel I was held back by something totally beyond my control. Rather frustrating.
I can deal with not getting all the prizes, but I would like to feel I at least had a reasonable chance. This time I don't.

Really ? People picked A or even B???
Xmas was bad, but this easter update was just a joke, the odds are a joke, the easter eggs took ages to accumulate.
Went through 70 plus friends each night. Just a waste of time !!!!!!!

What grinds me is the fact that i have put so much money into this game that i once really enjoyed and now it has turned to this!!!!!

In the A-E system, I would give it a C. It definitely had potential. I was really excited at the start but it disappeared pretty quickly. It was such a long event (Easter was over a month ago) and the egg income was too low, especially with the odds of the boxes. Some prizes in the gold boxes should not have been there. Overall, I just didn't understand EA's logic for this event and I don't think they did either.

i really had high hopes for this event when it started.

i thought the basket and egg swapping feature was very well thought out. not like xmas where people had to gift you, and not like v-day where you just gifted.

i liked that we had to take the risk of giving common for uncommon at half price, to earn additional prizes.

BUT I WAS EXPECTING TO BE ABLE TO SWAP THE ENTIRE EVENT.

their trick of yanking baskets once the task sequence was complete RUINED THIS EVENT.

suddenly we couldn't help each other? SO WEAK.

could have been an "A". could have been the event to restore all players faith in the game. they have the friend visiting part really ramped up, encouraging more neighbor creation which encourages buying premium items you see in other towns...ALL kinds of characters, buildings, and decorations to make up for the drought we'd seen and lack of updates. i think EVERYONE was enthusiastic when the event started....

    but NOOOOOOOOOOOO...

they had to maintain typical EA greed and sadism, this time ramping it up so the premium players got frustrated as well. (your money's powerless in a casino with ridiculously high odds, suckas!)

i dont like anything that increases animosity for the game. it just drains the fun right out of it. which is why I GAVE IT A "C".

congrats to those who got everything. i'll keep collecting eggs as i'm still trying for Shari, Sean, and Blocko, and i guess the topiaries too, meh.

looking forward to earning the "cool Lisa" outfit though. yay new content!

    happy tapping!
