Post-Easter update debacle. No longer able to load game. I get the start page with spinning donut, the tap to continue page, donut spins a bit more.......... then the app shuts down. Never had much of a problem before. Running iPad Air with iOS 7.1.1. Tried logging out and in my Origin account numerous times without success. Any ideas?

This is just my suggestion. I suggest you file a problem ticket with EA. If there are enough of them, they will have to take notice. Don't be hostile in your ticket wording. As an ex-employee of AOL's support system, I can tell you that hostile or negative emails/messages are moved to the back of the queue. This is the same with any Support Team.

I just noted that the update was laggy, I had spent upwards of $500 over the course of my play, and hoped they would get the game back to running smoothly soon.

I havn't heard anything back personally, but at least they know.

My next email will use the "Stock Holder" angle, as I hold stock in EA.

I have tried to play from multiple devices & my result is the same each time. The game lags & freezes. When I try to visit my neighbors it just crashes. I can't even play right now because it's so frustrating. I just want my Simpsons back EA! I have too much money and time invested in this game to lose everything now. Please fix this!!

I cannot even enter the game. The app crashes during the loading process. It's the same story on both of my devices:

    iPhone5, iOS 7.1.1
    iPad2, iOS 7.1.1

EA needs to get their * together.

The update makes the game run uninstallingly bad for me - unplayable.

    I have it installed on:

    Nexus 7 (2013) running kitkat 4.4.2

Please take your time fixing this as I'd like this opportunity to retire. Thank you.

Edited to add I found this link and posted there also:

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, 4.3 Jelly Bean. New device and the game always crashed a lot but now it's virtually unplayable. I find myself in Quahog quite a bit, I may just move there.

Crashes every time since Easter Version removed. I get to the initial screen. I tap. The donut spins briefly. The app crashes.

I'm still running Easter content (haven't updated) and ever since the Easter update the game has been crashing constantly, it's amazing EA managed to make it even more unstable with the Post Easter update.

What are they doing over there?!? They just don't care about the game anymore?

Both my devices just downloaded a small update but the issue remains.

Once the game is loaded and at the splashscreen with my logged in to origin bit at the bottom left, I cannot get past the initial spinning donut and into my springfield.

Other people can visit my Krustyland but when they try to access my springfield (either directly from the friends list or by tapping the krustyland shuttle) the game crashes out back to my homescreen.

I have been unable to play my game for 3 days now.

My account definitely seems to have got corrupted or something.
Been playing since it was first released so there goes years of gameplay, and real money, down the pan.

I have chatted to EA and filled in that outdated web form (it only lists phones up to iPhone 4S so was told to enter iPhone 5 and my iOS version in the comments field) I didn't receive any confirmation of the form being submitted and was just returned to the ea help page. I have not heard anything back from EA yet.
