Massive freezing, stuttering and movement issues after post-easter Update. Anyone else?

The iOS hotfix was released earlier this evening. I'd hope they'll have the android fix out tomorrow.

    Evidently, while i was typing this, there was another update (which makes two) after the post-easter) and that seems to have made a big difference AND also fixed the issue (I didn't know I had) with Friend Points. I am now also getting FPs on EVERY place there is the "handshake" in my own town. Not just on the usual 4 as well as much better navigational ability.

    Friend points work but the lag is worse as ever.

    Playing on a galaxy s3, no other changes to phone, as soon as the game updated its literally too laggy to play. Not happy.

    Same here, game crashes every 10 seconds. Can't even play right now.

    Bad lag too, even after the latest update tonight.

    I'm on iOS, playing on an iPad 2, and my town is ok, but it's impossible to visit friends between the stuttering and constant crashing, and I've already had the update.

    Someone mentioned that the friends they were having the troubles with were friends who had not updated. Might be a correlation. Haven't done my visiting yet, so don't have firsthand info. Sorry.

    Didn't fix that issue. Only the FP problem was fixed.

    I did the good old uninstall and reinstall on my kindle fire hd, and does not do all of that any more. But as for friends visiting i do not know if it is the same. I will try it later kind of busy tonight with other things.

    why is Android users always second class citizen with EA?

    Absolutely terrible! Hardly able to play at all. It is more frustrating than enjoyable to even attempt to play right now.

    Maybe it's that Android users are, to put it gently, more frugal on average. Those who laid down the extra money for an Apple branded product are more likely to spring for in-app purchases, too. They could just be playing the numbers for maximum ROI.

    The latest update did fix my lagging issue for about 4 hours, I could visit my all my friends ( only crashed 2 times)
    But as soon I sent all my characters to do tasks the lagging came back worse than ever.

    I'm on latest iPad. 64 Gb. ram. Almost 30 gigs free.

    Way to go EA a million thumbs down.
