I recently got a new smartphone a couple weeks ago and downloaded the Family Guy game about a week ago.. It's a decent game, but even early on task can be extremely long.. It seems like I play the game for NOT EVEN 5 minutes, then I am waiting 8-24 hours before going back.. And you have to "find" these certain items to unlock characters by doing certain tasks that take a long time, and you aren't even guaranteed to "find" these items.. Other people who don't mind spending ridiculous amounts of money on these freemium games might not mind a game like this, but I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on a stupid phone game.. Sorry, I just have way more important things to spend my hard earned money on..

The last three clicks of the lighthouse have netted me 3 epic seashells and I have all 4 now. I feel so lucky. Hopefully I'm as lucky with the whip.

I just hit level 22, just fully unlocked Brian, and just opened the new Asian district. I think I have 8 available missions right now. Way more to do than TSTO, so this is getting played alot.

I am at level 21 and trying to unlock Brian still. I have alreadyunlocked the doctor.

This game is a grind but so much more enjoyable. The outdoor tasks are hilarious.

I'm unlocking the Asian district now, parts of the land take a few days. Just realized to late that you can build a couple of the same buildings at the same time to get more than one building. I have two hat buildings, would have rather had two arcades. Oh we'll now I know for next. t time

I've been saving up clams and just got the Brain Damaged Horse last night. I'm also working on getting Seamus and Pirate Peter.

Every single time TSTO crashes, the "we're lucky there's a Family Guy!" song runs through my head. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Looking for the last headband, and the last seashell, and saving to clear the PF Chinese block.

I know there is an awful lot of hacking of this game going on.... I take it this is unreleased content in a 'friends' town

This is part of a quest, I believe, just like the Gold Digger Island, and will be available for us when we get to that part.

Since I haven't been able to get into my Springfield lately I've been playing the Family Guy game but I haven't been able to get addicted to it like Tapped Out. Maybe it could happen since I've noticed I've been playing it three times daily compared to my once a day to once every two days when Tapped Out still worked.

Ahh, ok.....only seen this in one town in a town where $1000's must have been spent or clams obtained by other methods. Currently working on Connie quest line, trying to unlock Tricia which may take a while.

There was a glitch for a few hours last week that allowed this item, the gay pride float, and the district 7 items to be unlocked before they were supposed to. Everything was available for purchase during that time to maybe they bought it then.

I feel like I should be way further in this game than I am. I'm not far from unlocking Seamus, but most people I talk to are on Tricia right now. I'm tempted to spend money and get Consuela, but I have no friends to look at my town so it is pointless really. I'm just doing this game for fun.

You can show it to your real life friends. I do. :)

Finally cleared the land to get at the PF Chinese restaurant, which has a 2-day clearance time. The delay stinks but it looks like it'll give enough time to get enough money to buy the Awful Person Hattery tomorrow to speed up getting Connie D'Amico's stuff...

Finally got the last shells for Mermaid Peter but didn't even notice that I was missing all of the hairsprays, so hopefully that is done tomorrow.

What are the percentage chances for rare, extra rare, and epic items? I need 2 seashells now and the only thing I have that can drop them is the lighthouse.

This game picked the perfect time to release. It coincided right with the worst ever event in TSTO history. I'm betting several people left Tapped Out for this game. I still play both, but my God that Easter event was bad. So glad its over.

according to a well known file readers website the drop rates are

    common 50-90%N
    Uncommon 60-80%
    Rare 40-60%
    extra rare 10-20%
    Epic 5-10%

Can't publish the link and can't be arsed to take the screen shots

    Thoserates are nonsense.

Take the extra rare for instanc. Have been trying to get the headbands for lois two hour tasks for like three weeks. Did the task about 60 times. Had one drop.

Sea shells: took me over 30 collections from the seahouse to get 1.
