Why cant I upload an avatar?

It is a little early to talk about promotions. But to get an avatar you need to be promoted. Promotion is the 22nd of every month, if you are picked.

So make some good post especially from the 20th on

You have to be promoted to have an avatar and use HTML & BB Code. Just stick around for a bit and contribute to the forum. Soon enough you'll get a private messages saying you've been promoted.

Actually, now anyone can post pics and quote with bb code. It's just the avatar you wait for, now.

Is this still the case? Because indeed I can't seem to be able to have an avatar on the forum? But it never states why anywhere? Or at least I didn't see it?
