Locked out of game

    I also am not able to get into the game. I am playing on an iPhone 4s updated to the most recent iOS. I can login but when I try to play the game I get the spinning donut and then it crashes every time. My friends who visit daily reported that if they tried to go into my Springfield it caused their game to crash. If I don't login and just play as anonymous it starts up with no problem. I'm not asking for donuts because I spend $15-$20/month on them and have plenty plus all the free donuts from passing levels at max level up and with $200+ million I always play to get 3 donuts. Random donuts from visiting neighbors and clearing debris too. So I'm not asking for a handout, I don't need one nor do I feel entitled to one. I just want to be able to play again. I've been playing the game since Fall 2012. I played it daily and had 100 friends that we all visited each other daily. This is one of my hobbies, playing video games. It's what I do. This is and hopefully will continue to be my favorite game to play on my iPhone 4s (and iPad, I play on both but it currently crashes on both). The game for me is very well balanced as far as free content vs premium content. I'm more than happy to pay for content if it keeps the game funded for future content & development. As much as I like it though, I'm not patient enough or willing, to start all over again. Not when I was max level with all free content, all land unlocked, Krusty Land and Squidport completed and well developed, and I am pretty sure close to 100% premium content purchased (though I can't be a 100% because I didn't start putting money into this game until mid 2013. So there may be some premium content I have missed.) I also had all the inspirational/aspirational items and all of the FP items. Most if not all character skins. I really hope that EA can help us get back into our games soon, for those of us still experiencing the crashes. I'm not sure how much longer I care to wait. If I wait too much longer I may just lose interest all together and move on to a different game to sink money into, like Family Guy or something comparable to The Simpsons: Tapped Out. Good luck EA. I hope you can get this figured out. It's a shame to miss exclusive episode tie-in content too, though I'm sure it will come around again at some point. /fingers-crossed /trying to stay optimistic & patient

    P.S. I do get the error message/warning that I have not logged out of my other device every time I login, before experiencing the crash. However, I have logged out of both devices right after logging in and stayed logged out of my iPad. I login and out of it on my iPhone and continue to get the same error. I was logged out of both devices before installing the "end of Easter" update on (I think it was), 5/13/14. Not sure if that will help with your trouble shooting. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, powercycled device several times. I've tried both a high speed wifi signal in my home, my Verizon 3G signal, and various public wifi signals as well. I've logged into my Origin account on my laptop and don't see any pending friend requests either (as that I know a few months ago I had over 20 pending requests and it seemed to make the game crash; as soon as I deleted/denied the requests I had no problem with game crashing back then).

    Thanks again for a fun game. I like it a lot and I miss it.

    I'm pretty close to just packing it in. Between the game not working an the lack of support seeming to care at all, there doesn't seem too much reason to keep struggling with it.

    I just spoke with a rep on live chat (for the second time this week--like the rest of you I haven't been able to play since Tuesday :( ). Though he couldn't give me an ETA on fixing the issue, he did direct me to the link the others have posted and told me that if I end up missing the new content completely, then they will add it to my account once it has been fixed. So that's good, at least.

    I just want to play--this is the first time I've been locked out since I started when the game first became available for Android last year!

    That's cool that they "say" they will give us the limited time content. Hope it's true. Can you post that link you wrote about?

    this is the only "official" thread on ea about this issue. There havent been any updates recently to the post but i was also directed there to make it "official". The rep i spoke to only confirmed to me that we would not miss out on the milhouse skin and still be able to get it. I wouldnt expect much more than that except for the usual 15 donuts.

    I am still locked out as well.....though after going through this last month with EA I am not surprised !
    Last time it took them almost 3 weeks to get me back online so I realize it maybe another couple weeks before this gets resolved.

    I am still opening a new ticket daily through live chat (and refer to my original open case #) to keep on top of them, seems to be the only thing I can do at this point.

    BTW last month when my game was finally fixed I just happened to give it a shot, never heard anything from EA even once it was fixed, no heads up so check your game once in awhile!

    Monday morning now. Anyone think they spent the weekend fixing the log-in issues? Hopefully today I can get in.

    they told me last wedensday they were working on a fix. I was hoping it might come today, but who knows.

    I can't get logged in to play at all since the post-Easter update. I get the splash screen and it shows my EA ID as logged in, but when I tap the Continue link it kicks me out and the app shuts down EVERY TIME. :evil:

    im impatiently waiting for todays Update.. last week during the week we had a small update about everyday.. nothing over the weekend.. i sure as heck hope that by 5PM their time its fixed!! theyve had plenty of time!!

    I am a little frustrated that my second town is accessible but not my main... for the third time this month. Customer service rep is nice, but still I am tired of it.

    IM STILL LOCKED!! I haven't been able to play for about a damn week, I'm so pissed, what the hell is going on here?

    I just got off of another fruitless EA live chat! It’s the same runaround I dealt with last month when I ended up missing half the Easter event!

    I’m surprised though that they aren’t fixing this quicker since there seems to be so many people experiencing the same Origin login/crash issue. Last month when I was locked out I wasn’t seeing the same number of complaints so I’m guessing this one is more widespread!

    Very frustrating!!! Please get it together EA!!!

    yeah lets chock it up that EA just doesn't give a damn I am also locked out of that game no point opening up a ticket, they will close it 7 days later without a resolution.

    I would still open a ticket guys. No chat though, they're not listening anyway. Apparently they're still working on it (see bugs and issues forum thread) and we should get another update this week.

    I did open a ticket it they had it unanswered for a week and then they closed it and they said you need to sit by while we fix it we can't give you a time frame. then they close my ticket and Here I am out $500 and nothing to play
