Why do you ignore the drive thru?

I don't ignore my drive-thrus. I regular place the ambulance or the Channel 6 news van next to them.

I have my Krusty burger placed so the drive-thru is accessable easily, fingers crossed cars will eventually be added.

In my imaginary story, the buildings were made with drive-thru windows, but they've since been abandoned when the proprietors realized the town had no cars.

(That's also why my buildings have a maximum of 2 parking spaces each.)

Yeah, as others have said, it is the little items that make a town shine. I have my secondary Krusty Burger and Gulp 'n' Blow arranged so that a car could concieveably make it around the buildings, with plenty of room to spare. I wish we could have some control about how the buildings face, though, it would be nice to turn them so that one could drive through the Krusty Burger and right on through the Gulp 'n' Blow without breaking their stride, lol.

My only Krusty burger has a drive through surrounding it, accompanied by parking lots surrounding the road. I'll pull off something similar to Gulp n blow at some point. I enjoy trying to flesh out my town and make it seem realistic rather than a randomly generated grid.

My only wish is for 'road furniture'. it would be great to be able to buy cars/vehicles and position them along the roads or in parking bays!!!

I was rearranging my town and thought of this thread. So, assuming our roads are two lane, the drive thru is on the wrong side. Unless of course this is British Springfield. Even if you place it next to the road, the non-existing cars could not use it without driving the wrong way. A separate drive thru lane is the only proper solution. Just saying.
