Finally got Mid-life crisis lois. A nice 25 clam completion prize as well. Up to 159, all earned through the game. The new outfit has finally opened up some new questlines.
As for the event, I've updated my app but all that's new is the icon and the load screen. no in-game content yet.
I've had Lois nearly nonstop on this task and have found only FOUR bandanas, one coming from the Video arcade!
In that time, I've found all 4 seashells, 3 whips, and 2 eyeballs which all have an EPIC drop rate.
This is ridiculous. They had to have mislabeled this drop and it should have been Super Epic or something. Or I'm just super unlucky.
It's quite frustrating to get the more rare items, i'd say it's the only downside to the game, however, it keeps me playing the game, at some point they will drop and i'll start getting a headstart on the skins. The only three i have so far are
* Hooker Peter
* Tweeked Out Peter
* Bathrobe Quagmire
A lot of the items i need to unlock the others i haven't got yet - just building Quahog Oceanland at the moment, then i'll have to do all the stuff to try and unlock Meg, then onto the next one after that. At the moment, i can't get the Yacht Club as QO is still under construction, but that's cool because i gotta save up some cash anyway, so i'll more than likely send everyone on 4hr tasks until i get enough to buy the YC.
Still waiting for the update on android to have the event splash screen.
The event isn't going to start until every store has the update.
As of yet, i have had no updates other than the one that brings us the 'coming soon' screen, hoping it will be released on Android soon if it's already out there after the last update

Your town is quite good. One thing I'm surprised at is that I'm further in the game than you! Jealous of how cool the crab/tiger/peterdactyl look, I just didn't want to spend money yet. I've done well to get 105 clams so far. Might buy some late June, and maybe donuts as well.
Family guy update is here. (iOS). No new land to buy (it comes with the update). The event is 31 days. Looks like moon statues are event currency. A pyramid unlocks in 7 days that may or may not have Cleveland. Certain skins pay out more statues than others (mermaid peter, goth Chris and s& m Lois) but some, not all characters pay out statues as well.

I haven't found a single seashell, and it took me a LONG time to get the headbands. Patience, young one. It will happen.

Just brought another land expansion, waiting for that to clear. Got 9 more land expansions and also the ones from district 7.
Need more money, doesn't come as quickly as TSTO, but at least I'm not racing through the game.

3 days! I wish. 1 eyeball in the last 15 days. Someone at EA must be helping with the odds. I really like the game but it's really getting ridiculous.
I'm stuck in the same loop with head bands and whips. Ugh! A hamster on a wheel. But the new update looks amazing. I am so hooked. No giving up now!
But when this is fixed, i'm gonna go visit friends again. Anyone who wants to add me: send me a message. Lots of neighbours welcome!
