No there is a glitch that logs people into towns that are not theirs. Guess it hasn't been fixed yet

Because someone logged into their game. Only instead of going to their town they ended up in OPs town. It's a glitch that's been in the game for a whole. People find their towns moved around donuts spent and missing buildings. This is why a lot of ppl have concerns about the new obliteration button.

oh hell no. that's a major malfunction. logging into someone else's account, moving their stuff and spending their donuts. that's a "me and you got issues" situation.

As happy as I am with EA right now, it's ridiculous that this hasn't been fixed yet!

It's even more worrying now there's the nuke button, which if someone pressed would completely ruin your entire town!

Yup, it's been around long enough to that there is no reason that it shouldn't have been fixed.

You were fortunate enough to have an honest person log into your town. I had the same thing happen and I lucked out too. The person logged right back out. I know this because I was in my town when it happened. I got bumped out and a message saying that someone else is currently logged into my account. Fortunately, they immediately logged back out.

Others have not been so lucky. They've had their premium/non-premium stuff sold and their donuts spent. I don't understand why anyone would want to play in a town that's not their own. I think the people that do are either dishonest (they want to take advantage of a premium player's town) or they're ignorant (they don't understand that all they need to do is log out and log back in to get into their own town).

It sounds like the person who logged into yours was sending you a message by moving only a couple things, so you would know that someone was in your town. EA needs to address this issue ASAP. Especially, now that there's a nuke option. If you want to try and put a stop to it, bring it to EA's attention through the customer service live chat feature. Tell one of their representatives and they'll document it (they may even give you a few donuts for your troubles, they do that sometimes  ). The more we complain, the more likely they'll address the issue. Good luck!

I too have had that several times where it says "you are logged in" I'm not sure if me logging right back in and skipping through "not saved" and just continued countered what they may have done or not. But I've been lucky.

This by far should be the biggest complaint ever to EA. Far bigger than an unfair prize wheel or lag issues. Someone with no authorization taking control of your account is total ****, really creepy and could cause you financial harm/credibility. IT's a real issue that needs to be addressed ASAP. /end soundoff

Only if they break your password to buy donuts. Or does android et have no ow protection? You can also dispute the cc charges.

I've been told that this issue still exists, however it should be happening significantly less than it used to. If you notice anything missing from your town, or if your town has been nuked by someone else, you should contact a moderator, (Neo, MWDalton, and myself are the most active at the moment) and we will get someone in contact with you, to review the glitch and restore your town before the damage.

If i may suggest, for those who may not see this post due to the activity on the forum, that a seperate 'Sticky' post be made as well so it stays at the top of the forum at all times for people to see? The advice you gave there is really good Bravewall :)

    *edit*

p.s. i do not mean to sound like i'm telling mods what to do with that post, just offeriong a helpful suggestion because it's a good informative post

Same thing happened to me. I was tapping away and clicked out. Went back 15 minutes later to collect and got the message that my account is logged in currently. I was so freaked out. I kept trying to log back and click in. The person didn't delete anything /phew

Edit: happened this morning. First time that I was aware of

We'll see how it goes. I'm not expecting this to be a common problem; at least not in an extreme disaster situation. Advertising this solution has the potential for anyone to waste the administrators time with fraudulent claims, (which I'm pretty sure won't work, once they review the damage.)

I just want people to know that if you see someone looking for help with this problem, then definitely you can tell them to PM one of us. If this happens to be a regular occurrence, then we will post something in the Bugs and Issues section about it.

Tbh, as I said above, I don't know if this happened before or since the update. :?

I wasn't aware that if you got that message whilst being evicted from the game meant someone else was in your town, that means its happened to me a number of times then because I've had that msg a few times. No-one should be able to login if someone else is already in :( You also get childish and jealous ppl who ruin your time, so yeh I am lucky that way... I figured they were also leaving me a msg as thats what I would do too...

I've been personally concerned and sympathetic to this problem for a very long time. I've been nagging admin about it for months now. If something serious were to happen to your town, I would make sure you got your say.
