Update?!? Are You Kidding Me!

My update has just come (5.20pm uk time) and its Gill, whose only purpose is to make me spend real money on donuts for the Santa village. Sorry, not going to do. Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere.

The update was probably Gil showing up in peoples' towns, not an update to a Barney task.

Well, Gil never showed up in my town, but Barney's Sober Up is now 4 hours for me. That's besides the point. The point is that EA is ignoring the issues of the game crashing for many users!

I agree. I dont approve of the nature of the update either. Encouraging people to spend more money on donuts whilst others have lost all access to game and had game reset to lvl1, effectively losing everything.

Resolve the current issues before concentrating on more money grabbing updates that just increase the likehood of causing even more problems.

Gil showed up in my Springfield, two minutes later it crashed like it usually does, and now it won't go past the loading screen. *Table Filp* Your attempt to get people to buy doughnuts backfired. Another update caused a game glitch. Ive seen past the last week of every time I tap on Homer the game crashes, but I can't see through this, because I can't play at all, and I sure as hell not going to start over having built the Try n save. I'm tapping out of this game.

Wow, that sucks Far. You have it worse than me. I'm still able to open the game and do some collecting before it crashes after 30 seconds. It justannoying and not enjoyable! This all started for fellow gamers and I after the Christmas update. I had ZERO problems before! Please, FIX THIS GAME or else I'm going to have to tap out like my fellow gamer above.

I agree with the general consensus of this thread. What's worse is that iTunes is closed to developers for the holidays, according to LDW on their FB page, so the update we received will be the last for a while, probably until after the New Year. This Gil update and Barney (and Mole Man, according to the "General Discussion" part of this forum) fix was most likely already in the works and submitted much earlier to iTunes. Crash away, crash away, crash away all!

Please fix this game EA, all I can do is collect on a couple of houses, if I move the screen or click on a person it crashes. This is no longer a fun game but a pain in the ****.

So I guess there was another update yesterday, AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED!!! My game is still crashing EA! Maybe you thought the end of the world was coming so you wouldn't have to give a crap, but the world is still here. Fix this game please! I REALLY like this game. It's just so not enjoyable with it crashing every 30 seconds.

Oh and I sent EA Help an email about my problem a few days ago, no response. I kind of expected this from reading on the forums about how EA has the worst customer service, but WOW! Totally true.

how many times must my springfield have an end of the world until the real world comes to an end. BTW it's today at 11:11pm.
