  I'm sure your neighbours won't mind for a while. In the meantime, go off and back on the game and it may help. If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall. Finally, if all of that doesn't work, contact EA. :-\

  I have exactly this same problem. I've reinstalled twice, contacted ea where I was sent on a wild goose chase. I'm a diligent visitor and hate this.

  This is my problem. I don't want to lose neighbours due to lack of visits

  I have been unable to visit friends for many months....sorry for the lack of visits I do clean my town too many times a day to count

  I'm on a Kindle Fire, as well. Today was the first time that I was able to visit most of my neighbors, and I had high hopes that the problem was corrected... until it crashed once again... And again... And again...
  
  It's incredibly frustrating! And I've lost neighbors because of it.
