I have a bunch more land to buy, but I'm short on money.

I wouldn't be opposed to more land though, because I'm sure it would be welcome later when I expand.

I would LIKE more land so that I don't have to rearrange a ton and so I can continue to design without cramping. NEED land, no. But hey, I would always like more.

I don't think you should have to deconstruct stuff in your town either. If you get something exactly the way you want it, why should you have to change it.

    From the app description:

HOW FUN IS IT? LET US COUNT THE WAYS!
    1. First, you can get it for free!
    2. Make Springfield just like you want it.

The way you want it not the way you have had to settle for. I myself have been forced to put a strip mall in my town. I hate strip malls in my town and in real life. It's my only option at the moment. I need more land. I have several buildings crammed together on a plot of land. So do some of my old, first time friends. Their towns are decorated beautifully except one plot of land with 5 or 6 buildings crammed together because they have no where to put them. I can think of 10 of my neighbors with this problem.

EA must have a way to see how many people have bought all the land otherwise they would of added more by now

I've got a few neighbours who have done the same thing as well :(

Answering the question asked: I do not, currently, NEED more land. I haven't even bought it all. It's possible that in the future, though, I MIGHT need it. Impossible to say at the moment.

Ignorant statement and not one that needed repeating. You said the same crap before. It's not based in fact just speculation....unless that is you have proof that everyone who says they need land has a Burns Compound that takes up "half their land".

    Peddle that garbage somewhere else.

Depends on whether the hardware can support it. On my iPad Mini, buildings near the edge of the field of view routinely disappear; it's more than it can handle. To populate more land, there would need to be an increased item count limit, which eats up more memory than certain (older) devices may have.

Personally, I'd first prefer to see better security. I've read accounts on here of people showing up in others' towns, selling everything that isn't nailed down and eating all their donuts. With the Nuke feature, completely trashing someone else's carefully-constructed Springfield would be easier than ever. I do NOT want to see that happen again.

I still have plenty of land to expand on and I have been playing since fall 2012.

I can understand the frustration of the people who desire more land, but won't that continue the technical problems that people are having with freezing, slow play, game rebooting, etc?

Couple things from the mind of a professional programmer for over 30 years...

    - The program can figure out what the device can handle and do the appropriate thing. Like say don't allow more land on a device that cannot handle it, or say don't load friend's towns that the device cannot handle.

    - I use to love getting the job of writing a program that went over all the code in the system and gathered data or made modifications. It's a great challenge, especially if you are making mods to billions of lines of code. From reports I've seen on the forum lately, EA does indeed have such programs. The latest was fixing glitches regarding multiple items that could not be used.

I assumed "need" meant "want", and I'll get to the point where it would be a nice to have. So, Yes.

I've been going through the downsizing and it really stinks. My largest is like 4-6 plots for 2 larger buildings (combined structure). My town is getting ultra cramped. 90% of my land has like 2-3 buildings per plot.

I was hoping that the Anvil thing could go to Krustyland, but unfortunately it cannot.

Can't take a proper poll about needing more land unless you can also find out if the player is a premium or a freebie player. Poors obviously won't have as many of the premium items.
