I don't really have that problem. Money tends to pop out too the right, so if I tap rows in the right direction, it doesn't land in front of anything I haven't tapped already.

    I do that too! :-)

    Me three!

Now if I could just hit those "The Order" guys instead of everything else that is around. :)
Fortunately I had just bought a bunch of land and its empty, so I catch them there a lot.

I picked up playing Family Guy because I was a little bored with TSTO, but TSTO really started picking it up. I'm neglecting Family Guy hardcore now.

I don't visit neighbors in FG and I do find that collecting $ from houses is more difficult because of where you have to tap for some reason is the foundation of the house.

One thing I personally like about FG is the leveling up of characters which opens up new tasks, etc. It makes things more interesting. In TSTO if you're all caught up the tasks you get are regurgitated with no storylines. For example I just bought the Volcano Lair (Finally!!!) and was disappointed that Scorpio's tasks were simply "Make Hank be a Great Boss" with no dialogue attached to it. I really expected dialogue there. Besides that, once the Roger Myers Jr. taskline ends, I'll be back to "harvest perfection" and the like. Leveling up characters delays some tasks and keeps it interesting, at this point I don't think TSTO can implement it but I kind of like it better. The dialogue in both games is funny, but TSTO>FG for sure.

Agreed about the leveling up. The only other thing FG does better is allowing you to grab and drag characters around. That annoys me about TSTO because I'd like to be able to stage amusing task interactions in my town. Aside from that, though, FG has a long way to go to get to the level of TSTO.

I do agree about the time for neighbors being better in FG though. I hate that some of my neighbors have ruined the setup I had at first where I only needed to go plow through them twice a day(morning then evening) to now where I have to go back several times at different parts of the day now.

Of course ... They are trying not to get caught.

FG has a really nice world - but the developers did not manage to transfer it into a game. The event items are such lame. I don't like all those stupid buildings which make no sense in the city. Of course simpsons has this too, but for some reason I think that they fit much more better in a town and suggest some kind of belonging.

But I get them anyway. :)

The one thing is the 20 hour visiting rule in Family Guy
4 hours makes that much of a difference to you? Curious to hear why.

Because if you happen to start late it's a thing. Last night. I didn't get to visits until 11. As a result no one will get visits from me today.

I feel like it's no use with the current event. And it's only making me want to quit.

OTOH I started playing the riders of berk game and am loving it!

I'm not loving FGQFS very much, but it's ok enough to play for a while. The thing I think they do best is when you click on a building or decoration or character by mistake, you don't have to find that tiny arrow in the upper left of the box that pops up. You can just click anywhere else in the game and the box goes away. It's especially handy because I never tap on the right thing the first time and I've missed a few of The Order running around my town by clicking a house instead of them and by the time I clear the box out, they've disappeared.

    But the things I DON'T like about TQFS are really turning me off from the game. Premium items really don't help with you game play - no % increase or anything else that could help in the long run so you're spending premium currency for nothing; the premium items are wacky things that really don't fit - a giant sphinx stewie for example;
Sphinx Stewie isn't a premium item, it's a personal prize in the current event.

i like how you set tasks in family guy way better then in tapped out, instead of just tapping the tasks which in tapped out often leads to selecting the wrong one and having to go thru the pain in the **** process of storing etc to cancel.

family guy makes you drag the task to the left to set it which gives you a second to realise if it's not the task you want and you can drag it back and set the right one.

I figure that Family Guy is new that they haven't balanced it yet. That, and and they should have had more content ready for launch. I like the game, but TSTO is just more rounded and is a better game overall, with a great community! :)

the only thing that i think QFS is better than TSTO is that the zoom out is much wider then the TSTO zoom...
besides that QFS is not half as good as TSTO

I hate the collecting items to unlock characters rule, It's taken me nearly a month to unlock cleveland. I have Peter constantly playing a h00ker trying to get a ultra rare whip which never comes so I can create lois' costume.

I enjoyed FG at first but much prefer TSTO, as I also got bored collecting so many things to get new characters, especially when there's such a low drop rate on many of them. I would like to be able to tap on another building or character rather than having to close using the top left arrow first, as I do find that annoying in TSTO.

    +1

Seems more often than not lately is FG is *constantly* begging you to buy clams to get ahead in the game. I really dislike being pestered every time I open the game to buy buy buy...
