Personally, I think this is a pretty good deal when combined with the various deals you can get on itunes card now ($50 card for $35-$40 depending on stores in your area). For me I am basically paying $40 for 1125 donuts and then getting another $3 back from my credit card through the rewards program.....$37 for 1125 donuts when all is sad and done isn't a bad deal IMO.

They got y'all by the nuts.. It's an ok deal but why switch it up from 25% off? They had plans to have 25% so why change it now? To still get the same money for an over priced product. It's like gas. The price is so outrageously high that when it drops to anywhere remotely near $3 a gallon people think its a great deal and they're doing us a favor..u think EA is doing u some huge favor huh.. I don't criticize EA to much but some of y'all need to stop swinging on their nuts.. And it said up to 25% off.. So assuming they would have been $74.99, $39.99, 14.99 and so on.. So not all the way 25% everywhere but around that... For those that purchased after Gil's plea, are y'all having problems with the app now. I can't re-launch the app anymore; so, even though I thought I took advantage of the offer, the update's now crippled my game play.

I happen to agree with Sonny here...he's merely noting a trend that exists on the Internet at large that people who complain in such a way have 1) poor grammar skills and 2) don't present their arguments in a cogent and rational manner. Unfortunately, if these people have a valid point to make, it will get inevitably overlooked because of the method of delivery.
This is the reason why we shouldn't have files leaked to us.
You know, Zuzu, I was thinking the same thing. EA pulled that part out of the script once we discussed it. Not that anyone from the company regularly checks in on us, but they'd released the Thanksgiving balloons at a lower rate than they'd evidently intended and quickly withdrew them to "correct" the oversight. If we hadn't found the mention, we would not be disappointed now, but imagine if the offer had been released as it had appeared in the script in the 1st place; perhaps the really quick eyes among us could have snagged the 25% off before it became apparent to the company that an error had been made. This is simply an random thought from someone with a bit of time on her hands.

I pulled out the condescending snark because you outright insulted people, entirely out of the blue. You're a regular here dude, you're alright by me, but if you're going to get all confrontational and abusive then you deserve a little light ribbing in response. Keep it calm and friendly and most threads go swimmingly here, regardless of whether people disagree.
We saw the pics of the 25% off. Maybe the 25% more donuts comes first, then the next deal with be 25% off? Maybe Gil comes with 3 offers? This way, EA gets more money doing this sale first.

As for me, I bought the $40 Walmart deal yesterday and got a store full of donuts. I still have 190 left for future characters, but thanks to both deals I know have every premium character!!! Wool!!! Without the 25% extra donuts I'd have all but one premium character. And the Walmart deal made it even better.
