No. If a character is linked to a building, you cannot store one without the other. You could keep him on tasks if you don't want to see him walking around.

Yeah, I prefer Simpson realism unless we have special events like Halloween or Christmas.

This just makes no sense whatsoever. The Simpsons is a cartoon, it's not real so there is no realism about it. I for one enjoy,what I do have at least, all the "cartoonish characters" as you so soundly put it. They give the towns life when everyone is mostly indoors doing tasks 24/7.

I can't help with advice on the Fudge Factory but if you are storing everything that is too cartoonish for your liking I must ask why Stampy, Chirpy Boy and Bart Junior are in storage? If anything, animals should be the closest thing to reality we have in the game

you could also remove the boardwalk out from under King Snorky and he would look like your average dolphin in a dolphin show :P

In presume you mean non-interactive characters that have no payout, no tasks and appear rarely, or once only, in the show? Well I can see the reasoning there.

i keep all characters roaming seems like a waste to store them, you barely even notice most of them anyway.

I lose sight of loads of the wondering characters/animals whatever, i havent seen Burns Monster for ages now, only found the K9 dog about 2weeks ago after not seeing it for months!

Exactly! And his 24h task (Which I prefer so that Bart can do his own thing) is indoors so it's really a no-brainer. $600 a day for a free character that you only have to see once a day for the second it takes to collect and retask.

yes, i have all of those characters stored away that dont have any funcion except looking 'good'...my city is crowded enough.
But you know that Stampy actually has two tasks: let Bard ride on him (12h) and Redecorate the Simpson's house (24h)...the latter is what he is doing dayin-dayout

to each their own. cant say as I do this though, I enjoy having them around and it adds to the Simpson's Cartoon-ism. btw Stampy can earn u some good money.. and his task with bart is awesome.
