You're mistaken. Frink's skin was not a reward. Disco Stu, Jasper, and Arnie were the premium characters with prize skins. Frink's skin had to be purchased, and it could not be purchased without having Frink already. It couldn't have been in your inventory.

The Frink outfit wasn't given as a prize...it had to be bought for something like 12 donuts.

I spent my last 12 donuts to get it after I bought Frink during the event.

Yep I agree with everyone here, in fact I thought I could pick up the Frink skin before the event ended and save up for Frink himself... except the game told me I had to have Frink to buy the skin.

So I paid for 132 donuts so I would have enough to buy Frink and the skin together.

I really lucked out and got Frink via a Mystery Box Homer Buddha during the SC event. 12 donuts for his SC robes was a no brainer.

I like how you can turn a simple reply of "Stop you are wrong" into a nice explanation of how wrong a person really is. It's always kinda comical to read your posts. Would hate to see a heated debate haha.

I know SC event is long gone but I just realized that premium character Prof Frink's SC outfit costs 12 donuts, but the free character Dr Hibbert's SC outfit cost 60 donuts!

I think neuro's reply was pretty straight-forward, giving the information needed to explain it instead of just saying "You are wrong." I would want to know exactly why I was wrong as opposed to just being told without further explanation.

Frink already paid premium. Hibbert didn't and now he does, so the price difference makes a certain amount of sense. I love having a premium paying Hibbert.

Kinda strange how EA would deprive themselves of 12 donuts in this way given what they did with the Barney King Plow skin at Christmas :?

The plow king skin was a prize, much like the stonecutter skins for Disco Stu, Jasper, and Arnie were prizes. Prizes go into inventory until you use them. Purchases are handled differently. Maybe because they're used immediately, maybe because one is free and the other isn't. I don't know exactly why, but that's how it always seems to work.
